Inter sign Yuto Nagatomo permanently from Cesena in exchange for three players and £3.5m - report

After an impressive six-month loan stint in Milan, the outstanding Samurai Blue defender may finally have found a way to make his stay at the Nerazzurri permanent

Inter will secure Yuto Nagatomo permanently after agreeing a co-ownership deal with Cesena for €4 million (£3.5m) and the loan of three players, according to Italian reports.

Sport Mediaset reports that Inter have exercised an option to buy out half of the Samurai Blue defender's contract, after a successful six-month loan stint in Milan from Cesena.

It is understood that Inter will pay Cesena £3.5m and loan them three youth players - Milan Jirasek, Luca Garritano and Luca Caldirola - in exchange for Nagatomo.

Inter have been keen to secure the 24-year-old former FC Tokyo man on a permanent deal after he made 19 appearances and scored two goals during his loan stint at the club in the season recently ended.

It had been reported last week that Inter would agree a straight cash deal of €8.5m (£7.5m) with Cesena for Nagatomo.
