Juventus have pushed back their plans to buy Royston Drenthe after missing out on a deadline day deal and will bid again in the summer for the Real Madrid man.
A final day push by general director Giuseppe Marotta was halted by Hercules, who did not grant access to a loan deal after Juventus had agreed terms with Real Madrid.
However, Tuttosport claims there is unfinished business, and Marotta made sure he has an option to take the 23-year-old Dutchman on in the summer.
Drenthe is expected to head back to the Bernabeu in June from his season-long loan at Hercules. His contract in Madrid expires in 2012, but Juventus are looking to swoop to provide more cover to their left flank.
