Gazzetta Dello Sport report representatives of the Brazilian international met with Gremio directors to work out an agreement and accepted the terms set out, although as of yet the details have not been released.
This means the player will reject interest from Brazilian rivals Flamengo and Palmeiras, as well as Blackburn Rovers, and rejoin the club he represented at the start of his career.
Ronaldinho has his heart set on joining his old club and is willing to shun the riches reportedly on offer by Premier League outfit Blackburn Rovers.
Ronaldinho's current contract with Milan expires at the end of the 2010-11 season and with the Rossoneri having already signed Antonio Cassano, there is no space for the former Barcelona star in Massimiliano Allegri's line-up.
