Ronaldinho's brother, who also serves as his agent, is meeting officials from Gremio to put the final pieces together on a long-running transfer saga regarding the AC Milan playmaker.

Sky Sport24 reports De Assis is currently in negotiations with Gremio representatives to sort out a contract for the 30-year-old.

Ronaldinho has his heart set on joining his old club and is willing to shun the riches reportedly on offer by Premier League outfit Blackburn Rovers.

Ronaldinho's current contract with Milan expires at the end of the 2010-11 season and with the Rossoneri having already signed Antonio Cassano, there is no space for the former Barcelona star in Massimiliano Allegri's line-up.
