Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg are reportedly showing interest in Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta as they prepare for Edin Dzeko's potential departure from the Volkswagen Arena.
According to TuttoJuve, die Wolfe have identified the 30-year-old as a possible candidate to take over from 24-year-old Dzeko, despite Iaquinta suffering a thigh problem only a few days ago.
Should the German side be able to land the player, it would allow the Bosnian to leave for one of the many teams interested in him, including the Bianconeri.
Iaquinta has been valued at £8.4 million (€10m) after a series of injuries over the past year, meaning he has missed out on game-time.
Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be keen on the Italian international, whilst Dzeko is wanted by AC Milan and Manchester City.
