Bayern Munich legend Franz Beckenbauer has voiced his opinion that Jupp Heynckes is the perfect head coach for the Bundesliga side.
Heynckes, who previously worked at the club from 1987 until 1991 and as caretaker boss in 2009, left Bayer Leverkusen for the Bavarians earlier this summer - and has recorded some impressive results in the opening months of the season.
"Jupp is an extraordinary coach. He has matured with age and has become more relaxed. He is just perfect. Things could not go any better than they are," Beckenbauer said in an interview with Sky.
The former Germany international then went on to urge Bayern not to get carried away with their superb Bundesliga form as he feels they have not achieved anything just yet.
"The competition are not going to allow themselves to be shaken off so easily. There will also be setbacks for Bayern."
The Bavarians currently top of the Bundesliga table, with 22 points from nine games, and hold a five-point lead over second-placed Borussia Monchengladbach.
