After weeks of speculation over his future, it appears Jefferson Farfan will remain at Schalke, at least in the short term.
The Peruvian winger returned to training late following his winter holidays, and was reportedly not on speaking terms with coach Felix Magath as he tried to force a transfer.
However, the player's agent, Raul Gonzales, revealed to Bild on Thursday that the player has not received any concrete offers, and will remain in Gelsenkirchen, at least in the short term.
"There are still no offers. For now, Farfan's future is with Schalke," said Gonzales, whose client was recently linked with a move to Valencia.
On the topic, Magath told reporters on Thursday that Farfan's discipline will "not be a topic for me anymore" after confirming he had warned the Peruvian over his misconduct.
Having recovered from a bout with influenza, the player is expected to start on Saturday as Schalke take on Hamburg.
