Beckham in PSG squad to face Marseille

The veteran midfielder is set to make his first appearance for the capital club since moving to Parc des Princes in the January transfer window
David Beckham has been included in Paris Saint-Germain's 20-man squad to face Olympique de Marseille on Sunday.

The former England captain moved to the Parc des Princes on deadline day in the January transfer window, but is yet to feature for the side.

However, coach Carlo Ancelotti has seemingly been convinced of his fitness after the veteran spent the last few weeks training with the Ligue 1 leaders, and has made him part of the group who will face OM.

A host of PSG's stars are set to line up alongside him in Le Classique, including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Javier Pastore, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Lucas Moura.

However, Thiago Motta and Thiago Silva have lost their battles to be fit in time for Sunday's clash, and will be forced to sit out the encounter.

PSG and OM are due to kick off at 20:45CET on Sunday in Ligue 1, and also clash three days later in the Coupe de France.
