Marvin Martin has revealed that he would like to leave Sochaux for a bigger club in the summer, with a move to Spain of particular interest.
The France international's performances have caught the eye over the last 12 months, and he has been heavily linked with a move away from the Stade Auguste Bonal.
Despite recently extending his contract with the Montbeliard-based outfit, the 23-year-old has admitted his desire to move to pastures new at the end of the current campaign.
"This summer I intend to leave Sochaux," Martin told RMC Sport. "I really like Spain. It is a beautiful championship. But if a big French club is interested, there is no problem, I'll stay in France."
Arsenal were one of the midfielder's main suitors in the last transfer window, but he feels he made the right choice in staying with his current side for another year.
"On reflection, I think I made the right choice. The most important thing when you're young is to play. This is what I do at Sochaux."
Martin is currently on international duty with France and may feature in the upcoming international friendlies against the United States and Belgium.
