Coca-Cola memorable celebrations 38: Ronaldo's comeback double

Brazilian superstar returned from injury in devastating form back in 2002...
Goal.com, in association with Coca-Cola, are counting down the Top 50 most memorable World Cup celebrations of all time. The original - and let's face it best - Ronaldo shook off years of injury misery to lead 'Big Phil' Scolari's Brazil to yet another World Cup victory in 2002.

38) Ronaldo - Brazil (Korea/Japan 2002)

For once Brazil weren't the favourites going into this particular tournament thanks in no small part to question marks over the fitness of their star striker. Ronaldo brushed all those concerns aside to mount a comeback which Elvis would be proud of as he notched up eight goals. After scoring his first in the final he pointed with his finger which screamed 'I'm back' while he celebrated his second by imitating an aeroplane taking off. On his then form few would have been surprised had he taken flight and all this happened despite the forward sporting one of the worst haircuts in history. Legend.
