Brentford v Crawley Betting Preview: Why both teams will score at Griffin Park

With the Bees impressive at home and Crawley in decent goalscoring form on the road, Phil Kitromilides believes neither side will keep a clean sheet this evening
In a strange quirk of footballing fate Brentford host Crawley Town in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, having beaten them three days earlier in the league.

The west Londoners' 2-1 win at Griffin Park and their status once again as the home side will both have contributed to Marathonbet pricing them as the 5/4 (2.25) favourites to claim victory. Crawley meanwhile are offered at 213/100 (3.13) to gain revenge by winning the game, while the draw is offered at 12/5 (3.40).

The Bees have been in solid form at home so far this season, unbeaten in five matches since the opening day of the season. Yet Crawley have aquitted themselves impressively on the road so far this campaign, earning three wins already on their travels.

With Brentford playing well at home, and Crawley netting in each of their last five away games, the natural bet is to back both teams to score at 13/20 (1.65).

This bet paid out when the sides met at the weekend, as well as paying out in five of Crawley's last six matches and looks to be a solid selection with a great chance of providing punters with some profit.

For a higher priced value bet, try backing a repeat of Saturday's scoreline with a 2-1 win for Brentford offered at 38/5 (8.60).
