Motherwell - Rangers Preview: SPL leaders looking to move four points clear of rivals Celtic

Motherwell (4-4-2): Randolph; Craigan, Hutchinson, Gunning, Saunders; Hateley, Murphy, Jones, McGlinchey; Sutton, Jeffers.

Motherwell manager Stuart McCall has no injury worries ahead of this tie, and will stick with impressive young centre-back Shaun Hutchinson in the heart of defence.

Rangers (4-4-2): McGregor; Whittaker, Weir, Bougherra, Papac; Wylde, Davis, Edu, Jelavic; Lafferty, Naismith

Walter Smith was hoping to have Jamie Ness and Lee McCulloch available but late set backs have ruled them out of the match.

Motherwell - John Sutton

The future of John Sutton seems to coming to an end with Motherwell reportedly offering him a huge contract offer to stay at Fir Park and his quality has helped his side get some important results this season.

His brace last week against Hearts earned his side a 3-3 draw and has 10 goals in the SPL this season so far.

Rangers - Steven Davis

The Northern Irish midfielder can boss the pitch sometimes for Rangers and has been instrumental in their success so far this season - his assists have helped Jelavic to 12 league goals so far this campaign.

The home side will be looking to exact revenge on Rangers after they were hammered 6-0 at Ibrox in February and are in good form of late; undefeated in their last six games.

Rangers have the same record of being unbeaten in six but failed to score last time out against Celtic. I expect Rangers to be dominant throughout but I think Motherwell and their in form striker John Sutton will make their impact on the title race. A draw.
