Official: Rangers loan David Healy from Sunderland until end of season

Former Manchester United man makes dream move to Ibrox
Rangers have completed the loan signing of Sunderland striker David Healy until the end of the season, the Scottish club have confirmed.

The move will help increase boss Walter Smith's attacking options after star striker Kenny Miller quit Ibrox for Turkish side Bursaspor earlier in the transfer window.

Healy has struggled for playing time at Sunderland since joining the club from Fulham back in 2008 and has already spent loan spells with Doncaster Rovers and Ipswich Town over the last year.

The Northern Ireland international began his career with Manchester United back in 1999 although shot to prominence in 2005 when his goal helped his country beat England for the first time since 1972.
