Fulham striker Andrew Johnson delighted with form after sublime brace in 4-1 victory against Wisla Krakow

The former England forward has 11 goals from 10 games this season and is pleased to be injury-free, while the Cottagers need only three points from two games to seal qualification
Fulham striker Andrew Johnson is delighted to be fit and in form again after scoring a brace in the 4-1 victory over Wisla Krakow at Craven Cottage.

The win sees Fulham needing only three points from their remaining two games to go through to the Europa League knockout stages after an impressive performance.

He told Channel 5: "It was a great result tonight. They’re a good team and we found it hard at their place and the main thing is that we got the three points that we needed tonight and to give ourselves a great chance of qualifying."

Fulham have, lost three of their last four games in all competitions and Johnson hopes the win will put the team back on track.

He continued. "I think things haven’t been going as well like the last few games since the QPR game it’s been quite tough. But things turned again tonight, the boys have been digging in.

"Everyone knew it was a big game today, we’ve got another couple of games against FC Twente coming up, so it was a big three points for us and has given us a great chance now."

Johnson has been in and out of the squad with injuries over the past few seasons but has 11 goals from 10 appearances this season and appears to be turning a corner.

When asked about his form, he said: "Yeah, [I'm] delighted. I’m just pleased to be back. I like full form. Full on fitness and training day in, day out and scoring goals which I enjoy doing."
