Ibrahimovic hails Paris Saint-Germain starlets

The 32-year-old superstar has praised the likes of Marco Verratti, Lucas Moura and Marquinhos for their performances for the Ligue 1 champions
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has praised a number of Paris Saint-Germain's younger players for their performances for the Ligue 1 champions this season.

The 32-year-old star striker has singled out the impressive form of Marco Verratti Lucas Moura under Laurent Blanc, claiming the mix of raw talent and experienced players at Parc des Princes is producing some excellent results.

"Our team is a savvy mix of experience and youth," Ibrahimovic told 100% PSG magazine.

"We don't play simply with a team of experienced players. The coach has the intelligence to put his trust in young players, and they have seized their opportunities and play a key role in the team's success.

"Everyone knows now how talented he [Verratti] is.

"Everyone knows how important he is for the balance of the team and I can only admire the partnership he has formed with Thiago Motta; I've rarely seen such a powerful connection between two midfielders.

"Lucas' potential and desire for success are extraordinary. In less than a year, he has adapted to the European game and he's starting to really hurt opponents with his attacking moves."

Ibrahimovic also praised two teenagers at the club, 18-year-old PSG youth academy graduate Adrien Rabiot, and Brazilian Marquinhos, who is just 19.

"Rabiot is amazing in every one of his appearances," he continued.

"I don't think it will be long before he earns a call-up to the France squad.

"Marquinhos was remarkable when he stepped in after Thiago Silva got injured.

"Right from the get-go, he was impeccable, to the point that he received his first call-up to the Brazil squad."
