Croatian left the Gunners for Turkish club this summerShakhtar Donetsk striker Eduardo is relishing the chance to face former club Arsenal in the Champions League group stage.
The Croatia international left the Gunners after a three-year stay with the club, joining the Ukrainian giants for £6million this summer.
Eduardo admits that returning to England to play against the Gunners will be an extremely special occasion for him, and the Croatian insists that he will not rejoice if he hits the net at the Emirates.
“It will be very special to go back to London and see the Arsenal fans,” Eduardo told The Mirror.
“But if I score I don’t think I will celebrate out of respect. The fans were good to me when I broke my leg, but didn’t see my best.”
Arsenal’s opponents in Group H of the Champions League will be Shakhtar, Braga and Partizan, with Eduardo’s return to London set for October 19th.
