'The No.7 shirt is waiting' - Fans excited as Griezmann's brother cheers on Man Utd

Antoine Griezmann has been linked with a move to Old Trafford following comments about Paul Pogba, and now sibling Theo has stoked the flames further

Antoine Griezmann's brother excited Manchester United fans on Thursday after cheering on Wayne Rooney & Co. in the Europa League.

The Atletico Madrid forward has been linked with a move to Old Trafford after revealing he would like to play with Paul Pogba on a more regular basis, and now Theo Griezmann has further stoked the flames.

United fans were quick to play their part by telling Theo of their want for Antoine to make the move from Madrid, though Memphis Depay may have something to say about his shirt number being put on offer.

Theo Griezmann's excitement came shortly after Paul Scholes backed his brother Antoine to move to United as a possible future replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

"I think Griezmann would be up there," Scholes told BT Sport. "He looks like a top centre-forward for Atletico. I think we need to be in the market for someone like that."

Atleti: Griezmann won't join Utd

Rooney became United's highest-scorer in European competition history with his first-half dink before Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Jesse Lingard and an own-goal from Feyenoord goalkeeper Brad Jones saw out a 4-0 victory.
