Official: Chelsea youngster Affane joins Roda JC on season-long loan

The FA Youth Cup winner will join the Eredivisie side on a season long-loan as the 18-year-old Swedish youth international will be hoping to gain more playing time
Chelsea youngster Amin Affane has joined Roda JC on a season-long loan following a trial at the club, with the Dutch side holding an option to buy the player.

14/1 Chelsea are 14/1 to make the last signing of the transfer window with Paddy Power
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder featured prominently in the Blues' victorious FA Youth Cup campaign last season, starting both legs of the final against Blackburn Rovers.

The left-sided Sweden youth international has made two appearances for Chelsea at reserve team level since joining the club in January 2010, and will hope to gain further experience with the Dutch side.

Roda JC Technical Director Gerard Wielaert told the club's official website: "Amin is a technically gifted player who can paly both left and right in the attack.

"He is explosive and he has a good shot. Overall he is a type of player who, with his specific qualities, is complementary to our current attackers."
