Chelsea winger Kalou eyes Feyenoord return

The 26-year old Ivory Coast international is out of contract in the summer and could be set to end his five-year stay at Stamford Bridge and return to his former club in Holland
Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou has welcomed talk of a return to former club Feyenoord, with the player out of contract at the end of the season.

Kalou has found first-team opportunities hard to come by under the club's former manager Andre Villas-Boas, but he has since become a regular under interim boss Roberto Di Matteo and has stated that he will decide upon his future after the upcoming Champions League final against Bayern Munich.

The 26 year-old signed for the west London club from Dutch giants Feyenoord in 2006 and after being consistently linked with a return to his former club, Kalou has opene the door to such a move.

"Feyenoord can call me any time — they are the first name on my list," Kalou told reporters

"Let me win the Champions League final and then I will think about Feyenoord. Yes, I’m serious!”

The utility player has made over 150 league appearances for Chelsea since being brought to the club by Jose Mourinho in 2006, and although never quite establishing himself as a regular starter, he has often been looked upon as a core member of the squad.
