Torres finally being treated the way he 'deserves' at Chelsea - management company

Fernando Torres is finally being treated the way he deserves at Chelsea according to his management company.

Torres has been at the front of Roberto Di Matteo's plans and has found himself starting for the west London club's Champions League quarter-final against Benfica in mid-week.

Torres assisted Salomon Kalou at the Estadio Da Luz, who was also out of favour with former Blues manager Andre Villas-Boas.

Bahia Internacional's Antonio Sanz told "With Villas-Boas, he was not considered, but the arrival of Di Matteo on the bench has seen him return to have the trust that he deserves.

"He played a great match in the Champions League in Lisbon, assisting the winning goal for Kalou."

Under Villas-Boas, Torres went five months without goal but since Di Matteo's promotion he inally broke his drought, scoring two goals in Chelsea's FA Cup tie against Leicester City.

Torres has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge with Roma and Juventus among the clubs reportedly interested in taking the 28-year-old striker.

On his future Sanz said: "We'll evaluate his future in the coming months.

"We know the new American project at Roma and the philosophy of manager Luis Enrique, but if Roma want Fernando, they will have to talk with Chelsea.

"The Italian championship is of a good standard, but there are currently no discussions with Roma or Juventus."

Chelsea teammate Kalou is delighted to have Torres playing alongside him after providing him with two assists, including one in the Champions league quarter-final.

Kalou told reporters: "That's the second goal that he gave me.

"Against Leicester also, he gave me an assist, so there is a good understanding between us.

"I'm glad he's playing, he's enjoying. For me, he's still the striker he used to be and he just has to keep doing the hard work and the best is to come."
