Yossi Benayoun has spoken of his delight at having joined Arsenal from Chelsea on loan as he looks ahead to Israel's Euro 2012 qualifier against Greece on Friday.
Just before the end of the transfer window on Wednesday, the former Liverpool man, 31, confirmed he was heading to the Gunners following a poor season at Chelsea.
And, speaking from Israel, Benayoun told reporters: "I am very happy to join a big club like Arsenal.
"It's a big challenge, but I'm waiting for the moment to come and start training with my new team-mates."
However, before he can focus on Arsenal, the midfielder has international duties as Greece arrive at the Bloomfield stadium in Tel Aviv on Friday afternoon, as things in qualifying Group F heat up .
"Of course what interests me now is the game against Greece," he said.
"I hope we can do it as we have plenty of good players and I believe we can win."
Israel are currently a point behind Greece in the standings.
