Stoke City have completed the signing of experienced defender Matthew Upson on a two-year deal, following his departure from West Ham.
The 32-year-old had been out of contract following a spell at Upton Park and Potters boss Tony Pulis has moved to snap up the England international.
''This is another fantastic deal for this football club when you consider the quality and experience of the lad,” said Pulis.
Upson becomes the second experienced defender to join Stoke following the arrival of Jonathan Woodgate earlier in the summer.
As well as playing for West Ham, Upson has also previously represented Arsenal and Birmingham.
