Henri Lansbury vows to fight for place in Arsenal first team: I will try and force my way in

Arsenal young gun Henri Lansbury has vowed to return to the Emirates next season "raring to go", and believes he can force his way into Arsene Wenger’s starting XI.

Midfielder Lansbury has spent the season on loan with Norwich City, helping the Championship outfit to secure their second promotion in a row as they moved up to the Premier League along with champions Queens Park Rangers.

The England Under-21 international has seen fellow midfield prodigies Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey establish themselves in the Arsenal first team this year, and feels he is ready to make the step up next season.

The 20-year-old told the Official Arsenal Magazine: "I just want to try and force my way into the Arsenal side next season.

"I have to come back raring to go, to be strong and try and take my place.

"I'm ready to prove myself here and show the boss that I'm ready to be in the first team."
