Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas: Once Fernando Torres scores he will not stop

Casillas is certain Chelsea's goal-shy Fernando Torres needs just the one goal to return to his old ways after seven games after his £50m switch and no goals
Spanish skipper Iker Casillas has no doubt struggling forward Fernando Torres will come good and return to his devastating early career goal scoring form.

Speaking to the press after Spain's 2-1 victory over the Czech Republic, the Real Madrid goalkeeper defended the atrocious form of the newly signed Chelsea striker, saying all it would take was the one goal to open the floodgates.

"I can see what is going on," he said.

"He is trying to adapt to a new city, a new team and once he starts to score goals he will not stop."

Casillas insisted Torres remains calm and confident despite his recent lack of goals for club and country following a £50 million switch from Liverpool to Stamford Bridge.
