Mourinho has been linked repeatedly with a move for Bale since he took over the hotseat in Madrid, while Spurs rejected a bid from Manchester United for the 21-year-old this summer, as revealed exclusively by Goal.com UK - which prompted the club to give the Welshman a new four-year deal at White Hart Lane.
United are understood to be set to bid again at the end of the season, with Madrid ready to offer competition for the Wales international's signature.
But, Mourinho says that he is not in the market for Bale, having been won over by Brazilian left-back Marcelo.
"Madrid are constantly being linked with this player and that player but I want to say that I do not want another left winger," Mourinho told Spanish television station Gol TV.
"Marcelo now has offensive quality and defensively he is growing.
"I didn't like anything about Marcelo when I arrived because I thought he could do everything but defend but now I am a lover of his."
