Liverpool goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri has completed his switch to Serie A new boys Cesena, the Premier League club have confirmed.
Cavalieri, 27, struggled for first-team football at Anfield and made just 10 appearances during his two-year stay.
With the ex-Palmeiras shot stopper's path blocked by Pepe Reina, he has decided to move to Italy to reinvigorate his career.
Manager Roy Hodgson had already moved to fill the gap in his squad by landing Middlesbrough's Brad Jones. The Australian has now been assigned Cavalieri's No.1 shirt and qualifies as a homegrown player under the Premier League's new registration rules.
