Giovani dos Santos looks set to stay with Tottenham Hotspur this summer despite speculation linking the midfielder away from the club.
The Mexican, who impressed for his national side at the World Cup this summer, looked to be on his way out of White Hart Lane after spending time on loan at Iswich and Galatasaray last season.
However, the 21-year-old has caught the eye during pre-season, impressing Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp with his attitude in training, and it now looks likely that he will stay with the club.
Dos Santos had been linked with Sporting Lisbon, AC Milan and Roma during the transfer window but his agent believes any move is now unlikely.
"If he left Tottenham, Giovani wanted to go to Roma," Sarti told vocegiallorossa.it.
"Now it is difficult to open a negotiation, so the player is likely to stay with Tottenham given that he also played in the Champions League."
