Blackpool have moved in the transfer market at last, and confirmed the signing of four new players today ahead of the start of the new Premier League campaign at the weekend.
Young Northern Irishman Craig Cathcart has signed for the Tangerines from Manchester United, the 21-year-old defender inking a three-year deal with the option of another year. He joins for an undisclosed fee.
Midfielder Ludovic Sylvestre, 26, has signed from Czech outfit Mlada Boleslav. The former Barcelona and Sparta Prague man has agreed a two-year deal with the option of a further year. He also arrives for an undisclosed fee.
French winger Elliot Grandin has also inked a two-year deal, with the 22-year-old arriving from CSKA Sofia. He has previous top flight experience in France with Olympique Marseille.
Malaury Martin, 21, is another French midfielder who has arrived on a free transfer from AS Monaco after being on trial at the Lancashire club for the last month.
