Lewandowski agent rules out move to 'rainy' Manchester

Robert Lewandowski could leave Bayern Munich to join a Spanish club in future but a move to Manchester appears unlikely, according to the striker's agent.

The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester United and City in recent months, but eventually chose to join Bayern on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund in 2014.

Lewandowski has scored nine goals in all competitions in 2015-16, five of which came in a remarkable nine minute spell during the club's 5-1 win over Wolfsburg on Tuesday.

And Cezary Kucharski, the Poland international's agent, seems ready to capitalise on Lewandowski's goal haul, though he has all but ruled out a transfer to the Premier League.

"Games like the one against Wolfsburg immensely help a player increase his value," he told TVN24.

"I have a plan for the rest of Robert's career in my head.

"Could that plan take him to Manchester? It's always raining over there. Munich is much more beautiful and a better place to live.

"Spain? That is quite possibly the best environment for a professional footballer..."

Lewandowski has a contract with Bayern until June 2019.
