Chelsea target Pogba will leave Juventus, says Raiola

Paul Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, believes that the France international will leave Juventus in the not-too-distant future.

Goal understands that Pogba was a major target for Chelsea in the summer and the Blues are likely to revive their interest should he be available, while his old club, Manchester United, have been heavily linked with a bid to return him to Old Trafford.

The 21-year-old recently signed a new deal with the Serie A champions until June 2019 but his representative has stressed that his long-term future does not lie in Italy.

"He will not stay in Italy much longer," Raiola told Sport Mediaset.

"It all depends on Juventus, to be honest. We have just signed a new deal and we are happy but, if the right moment comes along to leave, we will not let it pass.

"We will have to wait and see what happens. I don't know when the right moment comes along.

"I knew how talented he was but it's never easy to make such an impact when you bring a young guy to Italy. He has developed incredibly fast. Not even I had expected that."

Pogba has been a key figure for Juventus so far in 2014-15, scoring five goals in 22 appearances in all competitions, and club director Giuseppe Marotta is adamant that they intend to keep him.

"What was a promising player has become a reality," he told Sky Italia. "Every European club is watching him and have been in contact with us. We, however, want to have a strong team made up of champions.

"We have an important player in Pogba and we don't have a need to sell him."
