The 31-year-old has been the subject of transfer speculation since PSG splashed out €63 million (£54.4m) on Edinson Cavani, although he has previously stressed that he has no plans to quit the club this summer.

Ibrahimovic has been linked with a reunion with Ancelotti at Real Madrid and the Sweden star has confessed he has spoken to his old boss - though he made no suggestion that any potential transfer was in the offing.

"Ancelotti? Yes, we have spoken, but only in small details," the striker was quoted as saying by Tuttomercatoweb.

The Swede featured in PSG's 1-0 friendly defeat to Madrid in Gothenburg on Saturday and he had nothing but praise for the Liga giants following the clash.

"Real Madrid are a great team, they are preparing just like us and working hard," he enthused. "Los Merengues are playing well and have amazing players."
