Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson has been voted the Goal.com Editors' Turkish Airlines Top of the Match, for his performance in helping the Black Stars to their first-ever World Cup quarter-final, where they will meet Uruguay. Olele was a key figure in keeping the Americans scoreless in the first half, making himself seem bigger than he actually is.
Even when Kingson was put under extreme pressure, he was able to make the crucial save at pivotal moments, whether by hand or by foot, doing enough to stop an attack from being scored.
Unfortunately, he was unable to stop Landon Donovan from converting an equalising spot-kick, but did make a vital clearing punch in the dying minutes of the second-half extra-time, even when counterpart Tim Howard had decided to arrive in the penalty area and be an extra player, looking to score.

Goal.com Readers' Top of the Match sponsored by Turkish Airlines: Asamoah Gyan (Ghana)
The readers have gone against the editors, and selected striker Asamoah Gyan as their Top of the Match. Gyan became an instant hero, as he scored the decisive goal, which saw the Black Stars advance to the quarter-finals for the first time.
Gyan gave USA goalkeeper Tim Howard no chance with his strike, holding-off his opponent before sweetly volleying home the winner in first-half extra time.
