Ipswich Town in a £3m bid for Cardiff City forward Michael Chopra - report

Ipswich Town have reportedly lodged a £3 million bid to acquire the services of Michael Chopra from Cardiff City.

The Tractor Boys' boss Roy Keane had previously worked with the striker at Sunderland, where he spent two years before returning to the Welsh club.

Now The Daily Mail reports that the Bluebirds must sell, following their failed attempt to reach the Premier League. And it is said that the Portman Road outfit are the favourites to land the hitman.

Keane is believed to be interested in lining up highly-rated youngster Connor Wickham alongside Chopra, as the club push for promotion from the Championship next season.
