Bobby Zamora and Damien Duff start for Fulham against Atletico Madrid in Europa League final

Relief for Roy Hodgson as stars overcome injury issues...
Bobby Zamora has been named in Fulham's team to play Atletico Madrid in the Europa League final on Wednesday evening.

The Cottagers' talismanic striker has overcome an Achilles injury to make Roy Hodgson's starting XI for the game in Hamburg, as has the side's other major concern, Damien Duff.

Otherwise it is a strong line-up for the west London club, with John Paintsil the only absentee having failed to fully recover from a knock he received at the weekend against Arsenal. Chris Baird plays in his absence.

Forward Clint Dempsey will have to wait for his chance to become the first American to play in a major European final, with Zoltan Gera preferred as Zamora's striker partner.

Meanwhile, opponents Atletico Madrid name a line-up that was widely anticipated, with the vaunted duo of Diego Forlan and Sergio Aguero leading the line for Quique Sanchez Flores' side.

Europa League final line-ups:

Fulham team: Schwarzer; Baird, Hangeland, Hughes, Konchesky; Davies, Etuhu, Murphy, Duff; Gera, Zamora.

Atletico Madrid team: De Gea; Ujfalusi, Dominguez, Perea, Lopez; Assuncao, Garcia, Reyes, Simao; Forlan, Aguero.
