The Argentine - who has a penchant for whipping out a Spiderman mask when he scores a goal - has played a significant part in the club's successful push to get back into the top-flight following relegation last season, and insists that he intends to stay at St James' Park for the long haul.
"It's going to be an interesting summer because there will be changes," Gutierrez said, according to The Guardian.
"We have gone up with five games to go and I'm sure the manager and the owner will talk about what needs to be done in the summer and where the squad needs to be strengthened.
"Some players will leave, some will come in. The important thing is we have the time to make sure the right decisions are made. I want to stay. I'd like to play for a lot of years here at Newcastle. I love this club."
Newcastle still have five games to go before the season draws to a close, and will play host to Blackpool on Saturday.
