Aston Villa’s young defensive prospect Shane Lowry has returned to League One side Leeds United on loan having recovered from a knee injury that ended his initial spell at the club.
Following his January move to Leeds, Lowry was a first team regular for the League One title contenders having started all six of his appearances for the club.
Lowry has yet to make his competitive debut for Aston Villa’s senior side, but has completed a previous loan move to Plymouth Argyle.
The 20-year-old Australian missed Leeds' decisive penalty against Carlisle United in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Area Final although appears to be highly rated by United boss Simon Grayson.
