Czech Republic beat Switzerland in the other Group A2 game, which means that Portugal sit second and Spain are in third after the first round of matches. Spain travel to Czech Republic for their next game, while Portugal host Switzerland.
The points are shared after a 1-1 draw between Spain and Portugal. Morata gave the hosts the lead in the first half, slotting in after a quick break. Portugal pushed for an equaliser in the second half, and eventually got one in the 82nd minute through the substitute Horta, who was in the right place to volley Cancelo's cross over Simon. Alba had a glorious chance to win it for Spain late on as Costa pushed the ball right to him, but the defender thumped his header just wide.

89' Sarabia looks to be away down the right again, and he knocks the ball inside before being taken out by Guerreiro. He steps up to take the free-kick, but nothing comes of it.
Raphaël Guerreiro
Yellow Card
89' Yellow Card Raphaël Adelino José Guerreiro
87' WHAT A CHANCE! Sarabia's first cross is blocked by Pereira, but it deflects straight back to him and he volleys a great cross into the middle. Costa pushes it straight to Alba, who thumps his header just wide of the far post.
85' Spain are putting the pressure on as they look to restore their lead. Costa comes off his line to punch a corner away as far as Busquets, who lifts it back towards Azpilicueta, but it's too high for him.
Matheus Nunes
Yellow Card
83' Nunes is protesting his innocence, but it was a late tackle on Olmo, and he's shown a yellow card.
João Cancelo
82' It was clever play from Cancelo, whose quick thinking left Spain's defence static before he played a perfect cross into Horta.
Ricardo Horta
82' HORTA EQUALISES! Cancelo plays a clever one-two with Nunes down the right and his burst of pace catches Spain's defence out. He plays an early cross into the box and Horta is unmarked in the middle to volley it over the diving Simon and into the back of the net. 1-1!

Marcos Llorente
81' Spain's fourth change sees Gavi taken off and replaced by Marcos Llorente.

78' Portugal's frustration is starting to show as Spain go back to keep possession in their own half. The visitors can't get close to them at the moment, even with their high press.
76' Portugal have a free-kick on the right and it's a great delivery from Fernandes. Simon hesitates before getting down to push it away between Ronaldo and Pereira, but the offside flag was up anyway.
74' CLOSE! Sarabia surges forward down the right again and cuts inside when nobody comes to close him down. He drills a powerful shot towards the near post, but it only ripples the side netting.
Ricardo Horta
Rafael Leão
72' Portugal are making another change now as well, with Leao taken off and replaced by Horta.
Diego Llorente
Yellow Card
72' It's a clumsy challenge by Llorente on the back of Guedes and he's shown a yellow card.
Raúl de Tomás
Álvaro Morata
70' Third change for Spain now, and it's the goalscorer, Morata, that's taken off for De Tomas.
68' Pau Torres lifts a good long ball over the top and Alba peels off the back of Cancelo to get on the end of it in the box. The angle is tight and he takes the shot on the half-volley, slicing it wide of the near post.
66' Spain are still dominating the ball here and Busquets works it into Gavi again. He forces Sarabia wide down the right though and the attack breaks down.
64' CHANCE! Gavi picks out Morata's darting run between Portugal's central defenders. Costa rushes off his line, so Morata tries to curl it around him, but it bounces wide of the far post.

52' Portugal have made a bright start to the second half and Fernandes bursts down the right before seeing his cross blocked by Pau Torres. The visitors can't make anything of the resulting corner though.

Rúben Neves
João Moutinho
46' There's a change for Portugal at the break, as Neves comes on to replace Moutinho, who was booked in the first half.
Luis Enrique will be pleased with what he's seen so far, as his side put Portugal under pressure and created some good chances, but he'll want to see them be more clinical. Santos' team had a couple of bright moments, but he'll be hoping for a brighter start to the half to get them back into it.
Morata's goal gives Spain a 1-0 lead over Portugal at half-time. The hosts were the better of the two sides in the first half, with Gavi seeing an early shot blocked before Morata slotted home following a quick break. Soler also forced Costa into a good save but blazed the follow-up over the bar. Portugal had a couple of good chances, with Leao firing over before Andre Silva drilled a low effort just wide.
45' Portugal are putting Spain under pressure at the end of the half, with Leao pushing forward down the left again. He has no one in support in the box though and is forced to work it backwards.
43' Ferran Torres has acres of space ahead of him down the right, but his pullback to Busquets is poor. The midfielder does well to beat Fernandes to it, only for Torres to stumble over the layoff when it comes back to him.
41' The first Spain free-kick didn't come off as they attempted one pass too many, but they've won another just outside the box after Moutinho backed into Busquets. Sarabia goes for goal with this one but curls it just wide of the near post.

31' After being penned back in their own half, Portugal try to break quickly on the counter through Leao. He tries to shrug Azpilicueta off but ends up losing out to the defender, much to his frustration.
29' GOOD SAVE! Gavi gets away down the left again and plays a lovely low cross into the box which Soler runs onto. He hits the shot first time, and Costa makes himself big to smother it down the middle. It comes back to Soler, but he blazes his second attempt over the bar.

Álvaro Morata
25' MORATA SCORES! Spain break quickly after that last Portugal attack, with Gavi starting the move with a surging run down the right. He switches it out to Sarabia on the opposite side, and he squares it across the box. None of the defenders spot Morata, and he coolly slots it home. 1-0 Spain!
24' Otavio finds a bit of space down the right, but his low cross is cut out by Llorente. His clearance only goes as far as Leao, who bursts past Azpilicueta and pulls it back from the byline, but it's behind everyone.
22' Pau Torres plays it out to Alba on the left, and he tries to catch out Portugal by playing an early throughball down the wing for Sarabia. He overhits it though, and Costa is able to see it out.
20' Portugal are still patiently working it out from the back, but they're struggling to pass their way through Spain. Bernardo Silva takes it around Soler down the left but then slices his cross behind Andre Silva.
18' GOOD CHANCE! Guerreiro slides it between Azpilicueta's legs before touching it through to Leao just inside the box. He has to take the shot early, with three Spain defenders closing him down, and he fires it just over the bar.

14' Portugal win a free-kick down the left, but it's a poor delivery from Guerreiro, as Llorente heads it away. He only gets it as far as Cancelo, who swings it in from the other side, but it's straight into Simon's gloves.
12' Leao skips away from Azpilicueta down the left before picking out Moutinho to his right. He helps it onto Fernandes, but the sweeping move comes to an end as he scuffs it straight to Pau Torres.
10' Spain are still looking to their left side to make something happen and Gavi gets lucky as Otavio's block bounces straight back to him. He knocks it into Alba, but his cross is cut out by Pepe.
8' It's better from Portugal now as they're enjoying a good spell with the ball. It's all in front of Spain though and they're struggling to get it into their forward players at the moment.
6' Spain have made a bright start to this game and Sarabia bursts forward down the right again. He lays it off to Gavi on the edge of the box, but he stumbles over the ball and Pepe is able to hook it away.
4' CHANCE! Azpilicueta finds himself in a pocket of space just outside the box, but his drilled shot is nowhere near the target. Cancelo half-clears it as far as Gavi in the D, and his half-volley is helped wide by Pepe.
2' It's Spain enjoying all of the early possession here and Soler takes Guerreiro out of the game with a clever flick to Morata. He tries to break through the middle, but he's blocked off by Pereira.
