Commentary

Thank you for joining our coverage, we hope you enjoyed the game. Until next time, goodbye!
Slavia host Karvina next, while Inter face a visit from SPAL as both teams return to domestic league action.
There goes the full-time whistle! Inter go back into second in the group with a hard-earned win over Slavia Prague. Martinez opened the scoring and Lukaku was denied a second when VAR intervened and awarded the hosts a penalty - which Soucek converted. However, a slip from Frydrych allowed Lukaku in to score, before he set Martinez up again to volley home as the hosts fell apart in the final 10 minutes despite a largely positive display up to that point. Lukaku thought he'd added a fourth at the death, but VAR ruled it out for offside! It finishes 3-1 to Inter!
90' + 4' FULL-TIME: SLAVIA PRAGUE 1-3 INTER
90' + 3' NO GOAL! Lukaku scores a lovely goal, throwing a handful of stepovers in and lashing into the near post through a defender's legs, but VAR rules it out for offside!
90' + 1' CLOSE! Soucek gets his head on an outstanding cross from Olayinka but it flies just the wrong side of the post! The hosts just haven't been able to take their chances.
89' Slavia have conceded as many goals tonight as they have in their 17 domestic league games so far this season.
R. Lukaku
Assist
Internazionale
88' Lukaku worked hard to latch onto a loose touch on the right before producing a sumptuous cross for Martinez to smash home!
Lautaro Martínez
Goal
Internazionale
88' WHAT A GOAL!! MARTINEZ LASHES IN A THIRD FOR INTER! Lukaku wins the ball on the right and curls in a superb cross with the outside of his left boot that Martinez lashes in on the volley! What a strike! It's 3-1 to Inter!
86' Candreva advances down the right and assesses his options in the middle, but opts instead to go for goal and slices a shot well wide of the target.
L. Takács
M. Frydrych
Slavia Praha
83' Frydrych, the defender who slipped in the build-up to Lukaku's goal, is off for Takacs as Slavia desperately chase the win they need to keep their Champions League hopes alive.
83' MISS! WHAT A CHANCE FOR SLAVIA! Kudela flicks on from a corner and Soucek is there at the back post to tuck home, but he can only scuff wide! What a miss!
V. Lazaro
Assist
Internazionale
81' Lazaro's ball forward was more hopeful than precise, but it caused chaos in the Slavia back-line and gave Lukaku a golden opportunity!
R. Lukaku
Goal
Internazionale
81' GOAL!!! LUKAKU SURELY WINS IT FOR INTER! Lazaro sends a long ball forward and Frydrych slips while marking Lukaku, allowing the striker clean through on goal! Kolar charges out to face the Belgian but is beaten and Lukaku strolls towards the empty net before blasting it in! It's 2-1 to Inter!
S. Esposito
M. Vecino
Internazionale
80' Conte makes a bold change as he replaces Vecino for an exciting young talent in Esposito.
78' MISS! WHAT A MISS! Lukaku flicks on for Martinez, who bears down on goal on the left with a defender for company, but he drags his shot wide of the target when one-on-one! How did he not score?!
77' OVER! Sevcik sends a cross into the box and Frydrych rises highest inside the box, but can only steer it over the bar!
R. Gagliardini
Borja Valero
Internazionale
76' Valero is also replaced by Gagliardini - who is just returning from injury - in midfield.
V. Lazaro
C. Biraghi
Internazionale
76' Biraghi is now off for Lazaro at left wing-back as Conte chases the game.
75' SAVE! Valero now strikes a powerful effort from distance on the right, but Kolar does well to get his body behind it and hold on!
74' MARTINEZ! The striker lines one up just outside the box and hits a fierce, low drive, but it flies just wide of the bottom-left corner! He caught that with real venom!
73' SAVE! What a chance for Slavia! Masopust intercepts an underhit backwards pass towards Valero high up the field, before racing through on goal! He tries to send Handanovic the wrong way, but the goalkeeper reads it well and make a great save!
72' Slavia must win tonight to remain mathematically able to finish in the top two - a draw does not help them.
J. Zelený
J. Hušbauer
Slavia Praha
70' Interestingly, Trpisovsky replaced Husbauer with a more defensive player in Zeleny for the final 20 minutes.
68' CROSSBAR! WHAT A HIT FROM BROZOVIC! The midfielder hits a sweet volley from well outside the box that looks destined for the top corner, but it rattles the crossbar and stays out! Inter denied by the woodwork again!
67' A promising Slavia attack breaks down as Traore handles the ball when controlling a cross-field pass on the left. The hosts have dropped off a little in the last few minutes.
65' CROSSBAR! Candreva cleverly works space on the right and crosses into Lukaku, who is completely free in the box, but the striker's glanced header pings back off the crossbar!
64' TRAORE! The substitute thumps a wicked strike from outside the box that leaves Handanovic rooted to the spot, but it whistles just past the top-left corner!
62' SAVE! WHAT A SAVE BY HANDANOVIC! Masopust's long-range effort takes a deflection and it loops towards goal, but Handanovic arches back to palm it over the bar! Great save!
60' Masopust is down after stretching to challenge Skriniar. He appears to be in some discomfort.
I. Traoré
N. Stanciu
Slavia Praha
58' Stanciu comes off for Traore as Trpisovsky makes the first substitution of the game.
57' The visitors have enjoyed slightly more possession in this half, but the hosts remain the dominant side on the ball.
55' OVER! Brozovic charges to the edge of the area, shifts it onto his left foot and lets fly, but he leans back and blasts it over the top! He really should have done better with that chance.
54' Inter are pushing forward a little more now as the game starts to get stretched again. They're determined to go ahead once more.
O. Kúdela
Yellow Card
Slavia Praha
52' Kudela picks up a yellow card for a cynical barge on Brozovic. The ball had probably gotten away from the midfielder, in truth, and the foul didn't need to be made.
52' SAVE! Stanciu hits a sweet strike from just outside the box but Handanovic keeps it out, holding on well!
50' MISS! Candreva bursts down the right and curls a low cross into Lukaku, who is unmarked on the edge of the six-yard box! The Belgian tries to flick it into the far corner but steers it just wide of the post!
48' CHANCE! Kolar's poor kick gifts Inter possession high up the field and catches Slavia's defence out. The visitors fashion an excellent chance on the edge of the box but it falls to Godin, who simply passes to the goalkeeper. What a waste of an opportunity!
46' We're back under way for the second half!
Conte's side may have been briefly two goals up, but they have been second best in Prague so far this evening. One moment of quality from the Serie A side's strike pairing and a dreadful mistake from a Slavia defender have been the only real chances created, while the hosts have fashioned themselves plenty of opportunities without capitalising. Given the swing in momentum, the former Chelsea and Juventus boss will be well aware that his team need to do more in the second half if they are to claim an important victory.
There goes the half-time whistle! Slavia were the better side in the first half, dominating the ball and creating chances but they were pegged back by Martinez after strong play from Lukaku. A dreadful back-pass from Frydrych allowed the Belgian to net himself, but VAR overturned the goal as a penalty call from moments earlier was reviewed and given Slavia's way! Soucek kept his composure from the spot, and the hosts went from being 2-0 down to drawing level! It's 1-1 at the break!
45' + 2' HALF-TIME: SLAVIA PRAGUE 1-1 INTER
45' + 1' Sevcik has stayed down after a hefty - and late - challenge from Brozovic. No foul is given by the referee, but play is stopped so the winger can be seen to. He looks like he will be okay to continue.
44' Inter are pouring men forward now as they look to reclaim their advantage before the break. Slavia are standing firm so far, however.
42' CHANCE! Sevcik charges into the box and looks to be clean through on goal, but Valero does excellently to get back and ease him off the ball, allowing Handanovic to come and claim!
41' Borjil storms down the left and tries to cut the ball back into the box, but he loses his balance as his momentum takes him through and can only find the side-netting.
39' Brozovic tries to send Lukaku clean through on goal but the Belgian is caught offside. He will be feeling very aggreived to have had his goal taken off him.
T. Souček
Penalty Goal
Slavia Praha
37' GOAL!! SOUCEK SCORES!! What a turnaround! From going 2-0 down, Slavia find themselves level at 1-1 as the midfielder keeps his cool to fire down the middle via a slight touch from Handanovic! The hosts will be thankful to VAR for disallowing Lukaku's goal at the other end and coming back to award them a penalty!
35' NO GOAL! PENALTY TO SLAVIA! Frydrych plays a woeful back-pass straight to Martinez, who races clean through and squares to Lukaku for a simple tap-in at the back post! However, a VAR check disallows the goal and awards a spot-kick to Slavia at the other end for a clumsy challenge on Olayinka by De Vrij! The home crowd are going wild!
33' Brozovic thinks his ball over the top has given Martinez and Lukaku a two-on-one situation in behind, but the flag goes up against Martinez for offside.
31' SAVE! Husbauer sweeps an effort towards the bottom-right corner after good work from Olayinka and Masopust down the right but Handanovic is down well to keep it out!
30' Slavia have recorded 70% possession so far. They've been dominating the game, but they just can't get the goal their play has deserved.
28' WIDE! Slavia are creating chance after chance and another goes begging! Coufal gallops up from right-back and crosses low for Masopust, but he curls his effort just a little high and wide!
27' WIDE! Frydrych gets free of his marker and dives to meet Husbauer's corner, but he can only steer it wide!
26' Inter are on the back foot now and Skriniar is forced to concede a corner under pressure.
Lautaro Martínez
Yellow Card
Internazionale
24' Martínez has been a busy man in the last few minutes! He's now been booked for a clumsy challenge on Kudela.
22' SAVE! Martinez tries to add to his tally as he lets fly from outside the box, but Kolar keeps it out, getting down low to make the save!
20' Martínez has now scored in his last four Champions League appearances for Inter, becoming the fifth Argentinian to score do so, after Hernan Crespo, Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Ezequiel Lavezzi.
R. Lukaku
Assist
Internazionale
19' Lukaku did superbly to hold off two markers and work a yard to cut back for Martinez. That partnership is really blossoming.
Lautaro Martínez
Goal
Internazionale
19' GOAL!! INTER TAKE THE LEAD! Lukaku shows great strength to bustle his way to the byline before rolling back to Martinez, who smashes home! It's 1-0 to Inter against the run of play!
18' Lukaku is left frustrated as a great counter-attacking opportunity goes to waste, with Vecino's forward ball going astray while the Belgian raced in behind.
16' Inter have barely touched the ball in the last few minutes - Slavia are playing it around more methodically, dropping the tempo from the frentic pace they started the game at.
14' Slavia have enjoyed the lion's share of possession so far, keeping it well and Inter are really struggling to win it back.
M. Vecino
Yellow Card
Internazionale
12' Boril charges down the left and Vecino is always stretching in his challenge, catching the left-back clumsily and earning himself a yellow card.
10' WIDE! Valero plays a fantastic first-time ball through to Martinez in the box and the striker turns to fire a low, left-footed effort first-time towards the bottom-right corner, but he drags it just wide!
8' It's been end-to-end stuff so far in Prague! The game is being played at a frantic tempo as the hosts are spurred on by the home support.
6' CLOSE! Slavia have started the brighter of the two sides so far and Sevcik is fed down the right in space. He stands a cross up to Husbauer in the middle who has drifted into space, but the midfielder heads narrowly wide of the target!
5' Soucek wins the ball superbly in midfield and drives to the edge of the box, but he drags his shot well wide of the target.
3' Olayinka shows quick feet on the left and dances past a couple of defenders before being stopped in his tracks. Inter try to counter and Lukaku switches play to the left for Martinez, but it's a little heavy and forces the Argentine wide, allowing Slavia to regroup.
1' We're under way at the Eden Arena!
Slavia are winless in four matches against Italian opponents in major UEFA European competitions (D2 L2) since a 2-1 win over Palermo in 2006. However, Inter have won just one of their last eight Champions League matches (D3 L4) since winning their opening two group stage games of the 2018/19 campaign.
This is just the second European meeting between Slavia Prague and Inter - the first time the Serie A side have played a Champions League match in the Czech Republic. However, they have played in this city in the Europa League, losing 3-1 against Sparta Prague in the 2016/17 season.
Inter head coach Antonio Conte also makes two alterations to the starting line-up that beat Torino 3-0 last time out. Nicolo Barella is sidelined with an injury, while D'Ambrosio is on the bench. Valero and Candreva start in their places.
Slavia boss Jindrich Trpisovsky makes two changes to the side that drew 0-0 with Sigma Olomouc in their last game. Soucek and Stanciu start, while Takacs drops to the bench and Stanislav Tecl misses out altogether.
Inter substitutes: Danilo D'Ambrosio, Roberto Gagliardini, Matteo Politano, Alessandro Bastoni, Daniele Padelli, Valentino Lazaro, Sebastiano Esposito
Inter XI (3-1-4-2): Samir Handanovic; Diego Godin, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar; Marcelo Brozovic; Antonio Candreva, Matias Vecino, Borja Valero, Cristiano Biraghi; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez
Slavia Prague substitutes: Jaroslav Zeleny, Mick Van Buren, Ibrahim Benjanim Traore, Abdulla Yusuf Helal, Ladislav Takacs, Jakub Markovic, Milan Skoda
Slavia Prague XI (4-2-3-1): Ondrej Kolar; Vladimir Coufal, Ondrej Kudela, Michal Frydrych, Jan Boril; Josef Husbauer, Tomas Soucek; Petr Sevcik, Nicolae Stanciu, Peter Olayinka; Lukas Masopust
These two come into the game desperate for a win as they look to give themselves a chance of finishing in the top two in the group, with Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund currently occupying those spots.
