REAL MADRID WIN THE CLUB WORLD CUP! Los Blancos have secured the crown for a record fourth time and for the third time in three years. Santiago Solari's men claimed a comfortable win over Al Ain in the final this evening courtesy of strikes from Luka Modric, Marcos Llorente, Sergio Ramos and an own goal from Yahia Nader. Tsukasa Shiotani got a consolation goal for UAE side, but they were outclassed in the final third by the Spanish outfit, despite putting forward a good effort out on the pitch.

OVER! El Shahat cuts in from the left flank and feints the strike. It buys him time to unleash an effort at goal from a shorter distance, but he can only fire his effort over the bar.

GOALLLLLLL!!! NADER PUTS THE BALL INTO HIS OWN NET!!! 4-1!! Agony for Nader as he cannot help but place the ball into his own net after Vinicius' strike hit his leg and was diverted towards the target. The Brazilian did carve open the Al Ain defence down the left flank and fired at goal. His shot deflected off the defender and found the bottom corner. Madrid have a fourth to cap off their win.
There will be four minutes of added time.
Benzema releases Vinicius beyond the last defender, but the Brazilian is flagged offside.
Vinicius raids down the left flank and tries to get in between two Al Ain defenders in the box. He goes down under little contact and the referee tells the Brazilian to get to his feet.
Caio curls a fine delivery into the box for Shiotani to rise and head home.
GOALLLLLLLL!!!! SHIOTANI GETS A GOAL BACK!!! 3-1!!! The UAE side get a consolation goal as Shiotani rises to head Caio's free-kick into the net. It was a fine header from the Japanese as he shifted to the front of the line and looped his header over Courtois after connecting with the pinpoint delivery from Caio.
Al Ain win a free-kick on the right flank and can put a dangerous ball into the box.
Casemiro lands on his ankle after colliding with Caio. He gets to his feet slightly gingerly, although he is ok to continue.
Vinicius comes on for the closing stages to replace Vazquez.
Casemiro replaces Llorente for Los Blancos.
Al Ain have battled well in the contest, but have been undone by the quality of Madrid in the final third. They cannot allow the Spanish outfit to add further strikes to the scoreline.
Modric curls his corner into the middle for Ramos to head home.
GOALLLLLLLLLLL!!!! RAMOS HEADS HOME! MADRID 3-0!!! Los Blancos are surely on their way to their third Club World Cup triumph in a row. Ramos scores their third goal of the evening as he rises highest in the box from Modric's corner and he buries his header past the hand of Eisa into the top corner. An emphatic headed finish from the Madrid skipper.
Vazquez finds space down the right flank and he cuts the ball back across to Bale, but his strike is deflected behind by a wall of black shirts.
Bale breaks through the middle of the Al Ain defence, but before he can pull the trigger, Ismail is there with a fine closing challenge to knock the ball away from the Welshman.
Nader replaces Berg for Al Ain.
SAVE & OVER! Caio latches on to a long ball over the top and breaks behind the Madrid defence. He tries to round Courtois, but the Belgian spreads himself to make the save. The Al Ain forward keeps the attack alive and scoops it over to Berg, but he blasts his effort over the bar from a tight angle.
Ceballos tries to work the ball through the middle to Benzema, but the offload from the Spaniard is slightly overhit.
Ceballos comes on to the pitch for Madrid to replace Kroos in the middle of the park.
The pace of the game is beginning to slow, although it has been a contest full of action from the opening whistle.
Amer replaces Abdulrahman for Mamic's men.
Marcelo spots Eisa off his line and goes for an ambitious strike 30 yards from goal, only to blast his effort comfortably over the bar.
SAVE! Kroos sends Bale into the left inside channel and he goes for the strike, but Eisa is there once again to make the save.

Bandar replaces Ahmed for Al Ain.
BLOCK! El Shahat carries the ball forward and he offloads to Caio on the edge of the box. He goes for the drive, only for Llorente to guide his effort wide of the target.
Vazquez bursts into space down the right flank and he sends a cross for Bale in the middle, but the Welshman guides his effort wide of the target.
WHAT A GOAL!! LLORENTE DOUBLES MADRID'S LEAD! 2-0!!! The midfielder scores a stunner from the edge of the box to put Los Blancos in control of the contest. Kroos' corner is cleared, but Llorente meets the ball first time 20 yards from goal and connects with his effort on the half-volley. It travels through a crowd of players before finding the bottom corner. A super strike.
SAVE! Modric and Benzema combine with a neat one-two, which sees the Frenchman go for goal from a tight angle. The boot of Eisa denies the forward, although Madrid have a corner.
Llorente latches on to a ball over the top and tries to beat the attention of Doumbia. Both players go down in a heap in the box, but the referee waves play on.
Madrid break on the counter and Bale manages to round Eisa on the flank, but he cannot squeeze an effort at goal from the angle. He goes back towards Marcelo, who gets crowded out before he could muster an attempt.
Abdulrahman works the ball in from the right flank towards Yaslam. He goes for the strike from the inside channel, only to slice his effort away from goal.
INCHES AWAY! Benzema almost notches his side's second goal. He latches on to Bale's cutback and strikes his effort into the ground, but the ball bounces away from the net, travelling inches wide of the post.
Modric goes for another surge and he breaks into the box, but Doumbia crowds him out before he pull the trigger.
OVER! Bale comes close with a spectacular overhead kick! Modric does brilliantly down the left, skipping away from two challenges. He sends a cross into the middle that is cleared by Ismail, who then guides Vazquez's effort away from goal. Bale takes the ball out of the air on the third attempt, connecting with his overhead kick, only to send his strike over the bar.
Bale tries to get the better of Ahmed down the left flank, but he loses possession out for a goal-kick.

Al Ain have given a good account of themselves this evening, continuing their good work from their win over River Plate. Hussein El Shahat could have put his team ahead when he weaved his way past Thibaut Courtois, only to be denied by Sergio Ramos on the line. Zoran Mamic's men have been up for the challenge, but they just need an extra piece of quality in the final third.
Real Madrid have a one-goal lead at the break over Al Ain in the Club World Cup final. Luka Modric's curling strike put them ahead in the 14th minute and they have had opportunties to extend their lead. Karim Benzema, Lucas Vazquez, Gareth Bale and Modric have all had opportunities, but the game remains in the balance at the break.

Marcelo tries to turn his way past Ahmed down the flank, but the defender holds firm to make the challenge, although he concedes a corner in the process.
Madrid build down their left flank and Benzema works the ball into the path of Bale, but he can only scoop a first-time effort over the bar under pressure from Ismail.
SAVE! Eisa makes another important save for Ail Ain. Kroos lofts the ball for Modric to let fly on the volley and he connects, displaying great technique to take the ball out of the air. His volley flies towards the bottom corner, but the keeper gets down to make the stop.
SAVE! Kroos floats the resulting corner into the box and Bale rises to head at goal, but Eisa gets across to tip the ball over the bar.
Yaslam gets his delivery into the box all wrong, floating the ball away from the area and it allows the Spanish side to clear with ease.
Fayez has to make an important interception on the left flank, cutting out Carvajal's attempted cross into the box, although Madrid have a corner.
Carvajal brings down Caio on the left flank and Al Ain are handed a chance to send a cross into the box.
OVER! Benzema should double Madrid's lead! Carvajal and Vazquez link up down the right flank and the latter finds the Frenchman with his cutback. However, Benzema loses his composure at the near post, blasting his effort over the bar.
El Shahat has been active down the right and he tries to work his way past the Los Blancos' backline into the box, but his offload towards Berg is cut out by Ramos.
Bale tries to force a low ball into the box towards Benzema after linking up with Marcelo, but Ismail is well placed to make the interception before striking the ball off the Welshman to win a goal-kick.
There's no drama from the resulting corner as Courtois makes a comfortable claim at the back post.
Doumbia almost breaks behind Llorente from a throw-in, but the midfielder gets across to clear behind. The Madrid man insists that it should be a goal-kick, but the referee awards the corner. It did strike Doumbia last - this will be interesting if Al Ain score.
Vazquez skips through two challenges and chips an offload towards Kroos on the left flank. The German tries to drill the ball across the face of goal, but Eisa makes the claim.
Al Ain are not backing down from the challenge here and are putting Madrid under pressure in the middle of the park.
Modric gets wiped out in the middle of the park and the referee awards a free-kick to the Spanish side.
Kroos lifts the ball into the box from the resulting set-piece. Marcelo makes a move to rise highest in the box, only to head his effort wide of the post.
WIDE! Bale works the ball inside to Benzema on this occasion, but the Frenchman sees his strike diverted behind by Ismail.

The contest has not been short of drama in the opening 20 minutes. Both teams have had openings, but Madrid's clinical edge is the difference at the moment.
WIDE! Vazquez comes close to a second for Madrid. Carvajal raids down the right flank and cuts the ball back for Vazquez to shoot, but he bends his effort inches wide of the post.
DISALLOWED GOAL! Caio latches on to a throughball and buries his effort beyond Courtois, only to see the flag raised for offside. He moved a fraction too soon from El Shahat's offload.
Benzema rolls the ball to Modrid, who does the rest with a fine effort.
GOALLLLLLLLLL!!! MODRIC PUTS MADRID AHEAD!!! 1-0!!! The Spanish side take the lead as the midfielder curls a crisp strike into the net. Al Ain afford the midfielder space and time on the edge of the box and he bends his effort beyond Eisa into the back of the net. A fine strike.
OFF THE LINE! RAMOS SAVES MADRID! Marcelo makes a huge mistake, playing a poor back header towards his own net. El Shahat takes possession and surges into the box. This time he does round Courtois and fires towards goal, only to be denied by Ramos, who diverts the ball off the line and behind for a corner.
The black shirts are defending deep on the edge of their own box. They're sitting in their shape to restrict Madrid's options in the final third.
Madrid are knocking the ball around with ease. They're attempting to build a rhythm out from the back.
Bale makes a surge down the left flank and he gets to the byline before hammering the ball across the face of goal. It evades Benzema in the middle before travelling away from the net.
Madrid are exposed at the back and El Shahat comes across from the right flank to take possession in the box. He tries to round Courtois, but takes it too far and strikes a tame effort back to the keeper from the angle.
Marcelo takes possession after the Madrid corner and he goes for goal from distance, only to hammer his effort well wide of the target.
OFF THE POST! Llorente raids down the left flank and he chips the ball towards Vazquez in the middle, but Ismail deflects the ball on to the post and behind for a corner. A close call for Al Ain.

Madrid won the competition last year with a 1-0 win over Gremio as Cristiano Ronaldo's second-half strike decided the contest.
Madrid are unchanged from their win over Kashima Antlers, with Bale, Benzema and Vazquez leading the three-man attack. Al Ain have made one change from their win over River Plate as Rayan Yaslam Mohamad comes into the fold.

Madrid defeated Kashima Antlers in the semi-finals of the competition courtesy of a hat-trick from Gareth Bale. The club will look to become the first team in the history of the competition to win three titles on the bounce. Al Ain earned their first appearance in the final by defeating River Plate on penalties. Goals from Marcus Berg and Caio Fernandes cancelled out a brace from Rafael Borre, sending the contest to spot-kicks. Al Ain made all five of their efforts, while Enzo Perez missed the decisive effort for the Argentinean side.
