Relegation Play-off

PSG enter the international break back where they feel they belong then, after which they'll prepare to face Lille at the Parc des Princes. That'll be a blockbuster meeting for sure. No doubt it'll go a long way towards deciding which side will claim the Ligue 1 title. That's all for now. Goodbye!
PSG's victory puts them on 63 points, level with Lille but with a far superior goal difference. It's a great position for Pochettino's team to be in with eight games to play. Lyon stay third, only three points back. They're by no means out of the title race, and their late recovery here is a silver lining PSG shouldn't really have let them have.
PSG reclaim top spot in Ligue 1 after putting a sluggish Lyon to the sword. By the time Mbappe scored his second goal early in the second half, Lyon were 4-0 down and looked dead and buried. To their credit though, Lyon pulled two goals back through Slimani and Cornet to restore a modicum of pride.
90' + 3' Lyon's late rally looks to have ended when Navas saved Slimani's header. Navas might have conceded twice now but he has played his part in PSG's victory with some fine saves, particularly when the game was closer.
J. Draxler
M. Kean
90' + 2' Kean trudges off. He's not got onto the scoresheet for PSG today but he's played well enough. Draxler takes his place.
S. Diomande
Yellow Card
90' + 1' Diomande picks up a late yellow card for pushing Di Maria in the face. Before the free-kick's taken there'll be another PSG change.
90' There'll be four minutes added onto the end of this match.
88' Neymar's tugged over by Paqueta in the final third. Neymar steps up to take the free-kick and isn't too far from finding the top left corner. His effort whistles wide.
C. Dagba
A. Florenzi
86' Florenzi also gets off work a few minutes early. On comes Dagba at right-back.
Ander Herrera
I. Gueye
86' PSG make a few changes to inject some concentration back into their game late on. Herrera is on for Gueye.
85' Lyon have undoubtedly picked up in the last few minutes. PSG should feel a degree of dissatisfaction for giving Lyon the semblance of a chance when they were looking completely down and out.
83' Maybe Lyon are still in this. Cherki wins a free-kick down the right as he's checked by Diallo. The free-kick comes in and is headed towards the bottom left corner by Slimani after Marcelo's flick on. Navas pulls off a reflex save. Caqueret thumps it back towards goal from range and Navas catches it.
M. Cherki
81' Cherki's sliderule pass for Cornet there was very nice. Lyon believe they can still salvage something from this.
M. Cornet
81' GOAL! LYON 2-4 PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN! They couldn't... Could they? PSG's defenders switch off and Cornet runs through on goal from Cherki's throughball, finishing coolly from just inside the penalty area.
79' It's hard to tell whether the game has clogged up because Lyon have improved or PSG have stepped off the gas, knowing the game's long been won. Maybe a bit of both. Either way, it has.
S. Diomande
J. Denayer
78' Lyon substitution. Denayer makes way for the teenage Ivorian defender Diomande. Lyon might as well give the kid a runout at this point.
75' Slimani rises high to challenge Marquinhos for Dubois' cross. The Algerian wins the header but it's off-target anyway.
74' Lyon's corner comes to nothing due to an infringement. With the scoreline as it is, the hosts can't afford to waste any more chances to score.
M. Cherki
K. Toko Ekambi
74' Earning that corner is Toko Ekambi's last act of the game. Cherki takes his place for Lyon.
73' Marquinhos is in the right place to clear Toko Ekambi's cross with Slimani lurking behind him. It'll be a Lyon corner. The hosts will make another change first.
71' Di Maria unleashes a high shot from the centre of the box that Lopes reaches up to catch. PSG still look more likely to score again than Lyon do.
K. Mbappé
70' PSG substitution. Mbappe's work here is done. Neymar is the man to replace him. Good luck, Lyon.
68' PSG aren't too far from making it 5-1. Mbappe plays a clever one-two with Di Maria to dart in from the left, blasting an effort straight at Lopes. Kean gets to the rebound but can't keep his volley down.
66' That triple change by Lyon has given them some much-needed impetus. De Sciglio's cross from the left is kicked away by Marquinhos.
64' Di Maria's down on the turf after taking a knock from Guimaraes. There's nothing wrong with the challenge. The Argentine gingerly gets to his feet soon enough.
M. Cornet
62' Cornet's shown some decent energy down the left for Lyon and has played a part in Lyon grabbing what looks like a mere consolation goal at the moment. We'll see though.
I. Slimani
62' GOAL! LYON 1-4 PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN! Lyon regain some face by pulling a goal back. Slimani receives a pass inside from Cornet and leathers the ball into the bottom left corner from outside the box. Navas could do nothing about it.
60' Mbappe shows his terrifying pace again to cut inside from the left. PSG's 22-year-old superstar is close to grabbing his hat-trick before Lopes rushes out to grab the ball.
58' Cornet's caught offside from Caqueret's throughball. Lopes comes off his line to claim the ball as Kean almost receives a pass into the opposite box.
Bruno Guimarães
Thiago Mendes
56' Last to leave is Mendes who's done nothing to quell PSG's attacks. Guimaraes starts his shift in defensive midfield.
L. Dubois
T. Kadewere
56' Kadewere is the next Lyon player to make way. Dubois is his replacement.
I. Slimani
M. Depay
56' Here come the Lyon changes. First to go is their captain Depay who hasn't had a sniff of the ball since half-time. Slimani takes his place up front.
54' PSG are looking hungry for more goals as Lyon are there for the taking. Kean's caught offside from Gueye's throughball, then Gueye blazes over from the left of the box after being spotted by Verratti.
K. Mbappé
52' GOAL! LYON 0-4 PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN! Lyon are getting dismantled. Verratti takes a look up and lofts a direct pass over the top for Mbappe, the one man you don't want running through one-on-one with your keeper. Mbappe latches onto it and lashes it right down the middle past Lopes. Game over.
M. Verratti
52' That was great awareness by Verratti to pick out Mbappe but suicidal defending by Lyon. This is getting embarrassing for them.
51' Chance for Lyon! Paqueta finds Toko Ekambi in the box in a rare Lyon foray forward. Toko Ekambi swivels on the spot and fires for the bottom left corner. Navas leaps across to make a smart save.
49' This has been a ruthless performance by PSG. Lyon just haven't turned up. Surely some Lyon changes must be imminent.
Á. Di María
47' GOAL! LYON 0-3 PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN! PSG look home and dry! Di Maria swings in a wicked dipping cross with his left foot. It eludes everyone in the box and bounces into the net at the far post! Di Maria finds the nearest TV camera and blows it a kiss.
46' Di Maria beats Denayer for pace down the right and is tugged over by the Belgian. The Argentine will take the free-kick.
46' PSG get the game going again for the second half. Lyon have resisted making changes for now.
Ligue 1 is remarkably open this season as PSG have lost seven of their 29 previous games this campaign. No team has gone on to win the French top-flight title with as many defeats at this stage since Lyon in 2002/03. However, the champions are reclaiming top spot as things stand. Can Lyon do anything to change that after the break?
PSG lead comfortably after the break after bettering Lyon in the first 45 minutes. Lyon haven't been able to lay a hand on PSG, who have had this game well under control since Mbappe's opening goal after 15 minutes. Pereira's smartly taken follow-up have given the hosts a mountain to climb in the second half.
44' Mbappe, playing on the right for the time being, heads for the box again and Denayer slides in to hand PSG a corner. Lyon get it away. That'll be all for now.
43' PSG are knocking the ball around without a care in the world. Mbappe hits a cross against Denayer.
41' Paqueta shows nice footwork to take the ball away from Gueye, buying a free-kick. PSG are pressing high whenever Lyon have possession in their own half.
T. Kadewere
Yellow Card
40' Kadewere picks up the game's first yellow card for a slightly rash challenge on Mbappe.
39' PSG are easily holding Lyon at arm's length at the moment. The hosts are finding it difficult to create any clear shooting opportunities.
37' Kadewere keeps a booming crossfield ball in play but is unable to do anything else with it. Mendes takes a tumble in the box. The referee is unmoved.
35' Toko Ekambi beats Diallo to a pass down the right, getting into the penalty area. The winger's cutback isn't great though and PSG hook it away. Cornet wins a free-kick as he's brought down by Kean.
34' PSG regain possession from kick-off and force another corner down their left this time. Mbappe stands still with the ball before passing it back to Diallo whose cross is headed clear.
32' That was a lovely header by Marquinhos who had stayed up front to make a nuisance of himself. PSG are firmly on top at the moment.
Danilo Pereira
32' GOAL! LYON 0-2 PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN! PSG are cruising! The visitors take the corner short. It's worked to Kimpembe who sends it high back towards the centre. Marquinhos nods it down for Pereira who slots it past Lopes.
30' PSG go up the other end and win a corner, the first of the game. Lyon manage to clear it. PSG will have another corner.
29' Depay takes the free-kick from deep but the referee blows his whistle due to pushing in PSG's penalty area. Depay tries again, almost finding Marcelo at the far post. It'll be PSG's ball.
28' Verratti's penalised for sliding in on Paqueta as Lyon break forward. The Italian gets a talking to from the referee.
26' Depay darts on the end of Paqueta's throughball down the right-hand channel. Kimpembe manages to just hold Depay off, allowing Navas to race in and smother the ball.
24' Mbappe takes a nudge in the back from Toko Ekambi and goes down in the penalty area. The referee waves at the World Cup winner to get up.
23' PSG are looking dangerous. Di Maria does a nice shimmy to confuse Denayer before blasting over from the right of the box.
22' Kadewere crosses low from the left but it's just in front of Depay. PSG break and Kean jinks inside to roll a tame shot at Lopes.
21' PSG are showing their experience, patiently passing the ball around while Lyon sit deep waiting to counter. PSG are used to playing in clutch games like these.
19' Toko Ekambi goes down on the right flank but doesn't get the free-kick. The winger is too eager to win the ball back for Lyon, stepping on Verratti's foot. The referee gives him a warning.
17' That's a crucial early goal for PSG who would be top as things stand. They're creating decent chances. All four of their shots have been inside the box so far.
K. Mbappé
15' GOAL! LYON 0-1 PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN! PSG take the lead! Verratti has a shot saved from the centre of the box. The rebound lands to Mbappe who smashes it low underneath Lopes' legs at the near post. Denayer is unable to stop it going into the net.
13' Depay keeps the ball in play near the corner flag, dragging Marquinhos out of position. Depay eventually crosses in and Kadewere flicks it with his head towards Toko Ekambi who is just unable to reach it. That was close.
12' Kimpembe takes a whack in the face from Depay as the two challenge for an aerial ball. PSG get the free-kick.
11' Di Maria takes on Cornet near the corner flag but can't get past the Lyon left-back. Losing the ball, Di Maria elects to foul his man instead.
9' Depay earns a free-kick in the centre of the pitch as he's clipped by Pereira. No doubt Lyon will be hoping their captain can show his stuff here.
7' Lyon show they shouldn't be taken lightly themselves as they go straight upfield and Paqueta hits a shot at Navas from outside the area. Navas initially doesn't control it but snaffles it at the second attempt.
5' Mbappe powers down the left flank, whipping a low cross into the box first-time. It reaches Kean who hits it down the middle and Lopes makes a vital save with his feet! Di Maria's follow-up shot from outside the area rolls wide. What a start!
4' Diallo fails to keep a routine pass in play down the left, handing Lyon a throw-in.
2' PSG settle into the game, retaining possession of the ball. The reigning champions will want to attack this match with a return to top spot at stake.
1' And we're underway!
The two teams are out on the pitch in Lyon as fireworks go off in the sky above. Lyon are in their home white kit. PSG are in their odd hyper pink and psychic purple away kit.
Lyon have beaten PSG more often than any other team in the league since PSG's Qatari takeover in 2011/12. PSG haven't won any of their four games against the other top-four teams this season, while Lyon are unbeaten in their three so far. Do Lyon have the grit to beat PSG and go top now the pressure is on?
Lyon boss Rudi Garcia makes three changes to his team from their 1-1 draw away to Reims last time out. Corner, Caqueret and Kadewere start. There are five changes to Mauricio Pochettino's PSG from their 3-0 win over Lille in the Coupe de France. Kean starts up front. Neymar is on the bench.

Lyon are wobbling a little at home lately, losing two of their last five league games here after going unbeaten in their previous 13. Meanwhile, PSG have won their last three away games in Ligue 1 without conceding a goal. With the stakes at high as they are here, recent form might just go out the window.
Lille's shock 2-1 home loss to lowly Nimes earlier this weekend has blown the Ligue 1 title race wide open again. Both third-placed Lyon and second-placed PSG can go into the international break top of the table with a win here in what is looking like an intriguing three-way tussle for the title.
