That's all for today, goodbye!
Nigeria now go level on points with France and Norway in Group A and have given themselves a good chance of qualifying for the knockout rounds of the competition. They will now be turning their attention to their tough match against the hosts on Monday. As for South Korea, they still have a very slim chance of progressing out of the group, but will need to beat Norway in their next game to stand a chance of doing that.
Nigeria get a vital win with a 2-0 victory over South Korea. They took the lead in the first half after a mix-up between Kim Doyeon and Kim Minjung saw the defender send her clearance into the back of her own empty net. Oshoala then doubled the lead for Nigeria with 15 minutes left of the game after she used her strength to get past Hwang and roll the ball across the goal line. Korea did create a couple of good chances and hit the woodwork through Moon late in the second half, but in the end, it wasn't enough to get them on the scoresheet.
90' + 3' Korea have a free-kick in the middle of the field which Ji crosses into the box. Yeo is the closest to getting on the end of it, but she can't direct her header on target and Ebi is able to get it clear.
90' + 1' Yeo gets lucky after the ball bounces in front of her after a deflection off Ebere. Her touch lets her down though before she can get a shot away and the chance is gone for Korea.
89' Oparanozie is the only player in the box for Nigeria and she's being crowded out by Korea defenders. She tries to pass the ball out wide to Ayinde, but she gets it wrong and it rolls out of play instead.
87' GOOD SAVE BY NNADOZIE! Moon brought down the ball brilliantly in the middle of the box and turned away from Ebi to make some space for herself. She took a touch before curling her shot towards the far corner, but the keeper got down really well to save the effort on the stretch.
86' Oshoala has become just the second Nigerian to score in two different Women's World Cup tournaments after Rita Nwadike.
84' MOON HITS THE POST! Moon is left unmarked at the near post and she rises to get on the end of Ji's cross. She makes good contact with the ball, but can only watch as her effort rebounds back off the woodwork.
U. Kanu
A. Oshoala
83' The goalscorer, Oshoala, is coming off now in Nigeria's final change and Kanu is on in her place.
82' Cho drifts into some space on the right side of the box and she takes the shot on the turn. Ebere gets across to her quickly though to make the block and send her effort into the side netting.
A. Imo
F. Ordega
80' Second change from Dennerby as he brings Ordega off and replaces her with Imo.
78' GREAT CHANCE FOR OSHOALA! Nigeria set off on the counter-attack again and it's Okobi that sets up Oshoala this time. She brings it down really well but a heavy touch in the box takes the ball away from her which gives Kim Minjung the chance to come off her line and collect it.
Lee So-Dam
Kang Chae-Rim
Korea Republic
76' Final roll of the dice for Korea now and Lee Sodam is on to replace Chaerim Kang.
C. Okeke
75' There was a mix-up in the middle of the field which benefitted Okeke and she came away with the ball. She does brilliantly to get around Cho and played a perfectly weighted throughball to Oshoala.
A. Oshoala
75' OSHOALA DOUBLES NIGERIA'S LEAD! Okeke did the majority of the work for the goal but Oshoala used her strength to get past Hwang on the edge of the box before she touched the ball past the keeper and over the goal line from a very tight angle at the near post. 2-0 Nigeria!
73' Nigeria work the ball upfield really well, but the move breaks down when it's played out to Oshoala on the left wing. She tries to put a cross into the far post, but it's a poor attempt and she gifts possession straight back to Korea.
Hwang Bo-Ram
Yellow Card
Korea Republic
71' Hwang is the latest player to be shown a yellow card after catching Chikwelu with a late challenge.
69' The game has lost its flow in the last couple of minutes with some players going down with injuries. Cho was the first to go down after taking another heavy blow to the face before Okobi went to ground after a challenge with Moon.
67' Nigeria are having a good spell of possession now and they're trying to use a direct approach when going forward. Chikwelu loops a long pass upfield to pick out Ordega but Jang is tightly marking her and she is able to win the ball back for Korea.
H. Ayinde
C. Uchendu
65' First change of the game for Nigeria now. Uchendu is the player to make way and Ayinde comes on in her place.
64' Ji is being given a lot of space down the right wing and she puts a very good cross into the middle of the box to pick out Moon. The substitute pulls away from the defenders and takes the shot on the turn, but Ohale makes a very important block with her head.
62' The medical team are on the field to give Cho some treatment after the collision with Chikwelu. It's not a serious injury though and she's going to be okay to carry on.
R. Chikwelu
Yellow Card
61' Chikwelu is the first Nigeria player to be shown a yellow card after she caught Cho in the face with her elbow.
59' KOREA HAVE A GOAL DISALLOWED! It's a great cross into the box from Cho down the left and Nnadozie comes off her line to push the ball away. She puts it straight into Lee Geummin's path and the midfielder taps the ball into the empty net. The linesman's flag goes up straight away though and it's the correct decision as she had just drifted offside as the cross was played.
57' Oparanozie plays a brilliant cross-field pass to the right wing for Oshoala to run onto and start the counter-attack. Oshoala reaches the ball and carries it forward into the box, but she's let down by a heavy touch at the end and Kim Minjung comes off her line to collect it.
Moon Mi-Ra
Lee Min-A
Korea Republic
56' Moon is the other player to come on and she replaces Lee Mina.
Yeo Min-Ji
Jung Seol-Bin
Korea Republic
56' Yoon is making a double change for Korea now. Jung Seolbin is the first player to make way and Yeo comes on in her place.
54' Lee Mina plays a good throughball into the box to pick out Jung Seolbin and it looks like Ebi has dealt with it, but she misses her clearance. The forward tries to cross the ball to Ji in the middle, but Ohale beats her to it and clears the danger.
52' The Nigeria defenders just seem to sit back and let Cho drift into the box with the ball. She tries to chip her effort into the target, but it's a comfortable save for Nnadozie in the middle of the goal.
50' GREAT CHANCE FOR OPARANOZIE! The forward rose highest to get on the end of Ordega's cross and her effort skimmed the crossbar on its way over. Many of the fans around the stadium thought it had gone in after it rolled down the back of the net, but it was off target.
Ji So-Yun
Yellow Card
Korea Republic
49' Ji is shown the first yellow card of the game for simulation.
48' Korea fail to clear their lines and the ball loops up into the air on the edge of the box. Oparanozie is waiting under it, but she scuffs the shot and Hwang gets across to block it.
46' Nigeria get us back underway for the second half!
Up until the goal went in, Korea had been dominating in possession and looked confident on the ball without causing Nigeria too many problems. If they can find a way to get Lee Mina and Cho involved more often, then they stand a good chance of getting on the score sheet as they have been getting into some dangerous positions. Dennerby will be the happier of the two managers at the break and his side did create a couple of good opportunities in the first half. They have picked their moments to go forward really well and if they continue to do the same then they can easily add to their goal tally.
A Kim Doyeon own goal gives Nigeria a 1-0 lead over South Korea at the break. Korea started the game confidently and dominated in possession, but it was Nigeria who had the first big chance of the game when Oparanozie's header was brilliantly saved from close range by Kim Minjung before Lee Mina came close for Korea when she sent her shot inches wide of the far post. Then, in the 29th minute, a mix-up between Kim Doyeon and her keeper saw the defender put the ball into the back of her own empty net to give Nigeria the lead.
45' Korea are once again dominating in possession, but they're still keeping it in areas of the pitch that aren't troubling Nigeria, but its clear they want to try and find an equaliser late in the half.
43' Oshoala has just cleared the ball against Lee Mina's outstretched arm and the Korea midfielder is in a lot of pain as she goes down holding her shoulder. The medical team have come across to see her, but she's back to her feet very quickly and she's going to carry on.
41' Korea are once again trying to use their possession to build out from the back and they're getting into much more dangerous positions than earlier in the game. They just haven't been able to really test Nnadozie in Nigeria's goal yet though.
39' Kang Chaerim puts a good cross into the box from the right wing and picks out Lee Geummin at the far post. She does well to keep it under pressure from Ebi but instead of going for goal, she squares the ball back across the penalty area to nobody and Nigeria can clear.
38' This is just the second time in Nigeria's last 15 Women's World Cup matches that they have scored the opening goal of the game.
36' Ji plays a throughball into the box for Korea and Ebi misses the chance to clear it. Jung Seolbin is running to get on the end of it, but Nnadozie is quickly off her line to claim it.
34' Nigeria are straight on the attack following the restart and they look much more confident following their goal. They have a corner, which is swung into the box by Oshoala, but the keeper comes off her line to collect it.
32' The goal stands! VAR had a very long look at the incident, but they have judged that Oparanozie didn't make contact with her hand so Nigeria lead!
31' VAR are still having a look at the incident. Oparanozie stuck out her hand instinctively and it doesn't look like she was trying to gain an advantage by using her hand.
Kim Do-Yeon
Own Goal
Korea Republic
29' KIM DOYEON SCORES AN OWN GOAL! The defender tries to clear Okobi's long ball over the top but hadn't realised that Kim Minjung had come off her line to collect it herself. It bounced past Operanozie and the goalkeeper and bounced into the back of the empty net! VAR are looking at the goal as it looked like the Nigeria striker reached out a hand to touch it. 1-0 Nigeria!
27' Oshoala has just crashed into the back of Cho in the middle of the field and she is on her last warning by the looks of things as the referee goes across to talk to her.
25' Nnadozie almost plays her side into trouble after taking too long to clear the ball. She plays a short pass to Ebere who is being tightly marked by Ji, but she does really well to keep possession before playing a long pass upfield.
23' LEE MINA COMES CLOSE! Nigeria fail to clear their lines and it falls to Lee Mina on the edge of the box. She drives her shot low towards the far corner, but it glances off the post on its way wide of the target.
22' Uchendu sees some space open up ahead of her and has a go from the edge of the box. Lee Mina is sliding in which might just put her off as she drags her shot well wide of the far post.
20' Lee Mina tries her luck with a powerful shot from the edge of the box. Ebi is closing her down quickly though and she blocks the shot well.
18' Lee Geummin did really well to keep the ball at her feet after a poor first touch and she turns her defender before curling an effort on target. It's straight at the keeper though and Nnadozie holds it well.
17' Okeke tries to pick out a team-mate with a long pass over the top of Korea's midfield. Nobody has made a run down the left wing though and Korea are once again able to win back possession.
15' Korea are slowly trying to build up an attack from the back now, but they are struggling to find a way through Nigeria's compact midfield at the minute.
13' Oshoala is down on the edge of the pitch after stretching to reach the ball in a challenge with Kang Chaerim. She's holding her knee, but she gets back to her feet without needing any treatment.
11' Nigeria are starting to find their rhythm now and they are knocking the ball around confidently as they patiently build up from the back.
9' GOOD SAVE BY KIM MINJUNG! Ordega's cross into the box is a very good one from the left wing and Korea don't clear their lines. It goes through to Oparanozie, who reacted very quickly to get her head on the ball and nod it towards goal. It's straight at the keeper, but she makes a good reaction save to palm it away.
7' Nigeria fail to clear their lines and it rolls to Jang on the edge of the box. She quickly gets her shot away, but drags her effort and sends it wide of the near post.
6' Korea have made a bright start to the game and have been passing the ball around confidently in the opening minutes. They've been pushing high up the field, but haven't been able to get into Nigeria's box just yet.
4' Nnadozie gets her first touch of the ball but plays a short pass to Okeke on the right. Lee Geummin closes her down quickly, but the defender keeps her cool to keep possession and clear her lines.
2' Oparanozie does really well to win the ball back for Nigeria and set off on the counter-attack. Oshoala is pointing to where she wants the pass playing, but it is played the wrong side of her and Kim Minjung comes off her line to collect it.
1' Jung Seolbin gets the game underway for South Korea!
The teams are out on the pitch now and we'll be underway after the national anthems!
