That is all from tonight folks, thanks for joining us. Goodbye!
Lille looked lost against PSG, and it was a remarkable statement from the reigning champions. While Mbappe was the star of the show with three goals, Neymar oozed class and seemed to enjoy the extra responsibility as he dropped into midfield. It speaks volumes that Messi looked quiet, yet he scored and grabbed an assist. Lille need to wipe the slate clean as soon as possible, while the rest of Ligue 1 is on notice after that PSG performance.
PSG return to the top of the Ligue 1 table in style with a 7-1 victory against Lille. Galtier's men were in front after just eight seconds when Mbappe fired home from Messi's curling pass, and the visitors never looked back. Messi then got on the scoresheet himself before Neymar teed up Hakimi for PSG's third. Two goals from Neymar either side of half-time helped PSG move into a 5-0 lead, only for Bamba to pull one back for Lille. However, any moment of joy was soon forgotten, with two goals from Mbappe helping him secure his hat-trick.
87' Mbappe will get the match ball and man-of-the-match award, but Neymar's contribution has been world-class. He has outthought, outplayed and outmuscled Lille's defence, and his latest assist deserves just as much praise as the first.
K. Mbappé
87' HAT-TRICK - LILLE 1-7 PSG - Mbappe will take home the match ball after a superb goal with three minutes of normal time remaining. At times, Neymar has acted like a quarterback, dropping deep into pockets of space and helping others into the game. For PSG's seventh, he has done it again, with a curling pass releasing Mbappe into space. The youngster still had loads to do himself, but he made it look easy as he glided inside before smashing his shot past Jardim.
86' The action has pretty much tried up during the last 15 minutes, but nobody can complain unless they support Lille. Seven goals, umpteen chances and the league champions at their very best!
L. Paredes
84' Vitinha's night comes to an end, with Paredes getting six minutes to catch the eye.
J. David
Yellow Card
83' David becomes the second player to be shown a card this evening, and like many of his team-mates, he will just want the referee to blow the final whistle.
N. Mukiele
A. Hakimi
81' Hakimi has made an impact with a goal and an assist, but that is all from him tonight as Mukiele steps onto the field in his place.
Danilo Pereira
Sergio Ramos
81' Veteran Ramos is given a rest with the game over and done with, Danilo Pereira the one to replace him.
77' Even though they trail by five goals, Lille seem to be enjoying the respite as PSG take a short breather. The home side are keeping possession to the best of their ability, but it could be a matter of time before PSG get a second wind.
74' The numerous subs have just taken the sting out of the match, but PSG deserve a break after their stunning performance.
Tiago Djaló
Alexsandro Ribeiro
71' Ribeiro has endured a tough evening, but he can now watch on from the bench as Djalo enters the game.
66' Neymar's attitude has often been criticised, but nobody in PSG colours can moan about his contribution tonight. He has been the ultimate team-mate, and his latest throughball means Mbappe is also on a hat-trick.
K. Mbappé
66' GOAAALLL - LILLE 1-6 PSG - Mbappe gets his second of the night thanks to a thunderous strike inside the penalty area. The Frenchman watched as Neymar did the legwork before placing his pass into the box, allowing Mbappe time to pick where he wanted to shoot. However, rather than placement, he went for raw power, and Jardim had no chance.
64' Talk about accuracy...Marquinhos has completed all of his 41 passes so far this game. That is the standard that PSG have set from the outset tonight.
Juan Bernat
Nuno Mendes
63' Mendes is also given an early bath, with Bernat now playing at left-back in his place.
Renato Sanches
M. Verratti
63' Galtier makes his first alteration as Verratti makes way for Sanches.
A. Virginius
G. Gudmundsson
58' Virginius is also given 30 minutes to make an impression as he replaces Gudmundsson.
J. Martin
B. André
58' Andre also makes way, with Martin on in midfield for the final 30 minutes.
E. Zhegrova
Y. Yazıcı
58' A triple substitution for Lille as Yazıcı is replaced by Zhegrova.
57' CLOSE - Vitinha looks stunned as he misses the target from close range. PSG's corner reached him at the near post, but he poked the ball wide of the mark after reacting to Jardim's attempted punch.
57' SAVE! Another blistering attack from PSG helps Messi through on goal, but the away side are denied as Jardim makes a save to concede a corner.
J. Bamba
54' GOAAALLL - LILLE 1-5 PSG - Finally, something for the home fans to smile about as Bamba fires home from close range. The Lille forward latched onto a cross and saw his first effort saved by Donnarumma. Sadly for PSG, the Italy international palmed the ball straight back to the striker, who slotted home to give Lille at least a brief moment of joy.
A. Hakimi
52' Anything you can do, I can do better, right? Neymar teed up Hakimi earlier, and now the right-back returns the favour.
52' GOAAALLL - LILLE 0-5 PSG - Neymar gets his second of the night after a defensive mix-up from Lille. The home side failed to clear a high ball, allowing Hakimi to pounce and play a sidefooted ball towards the Brazilian. Mbappe appeared ready to take control, but his dummy helped Neymar set himself, and the former Barcelona man did the rest as he tapped home past Jardim.
49' The standard has dropped in the second half, as we have played three minutes and PSG have failed to score. All joking aside, it comes as no surprise to see PSG struggling to produce the same quality on the ball, and it may take them up until the hour mark to rediscover their rhythm.
46' We are back underway in Lille.
It's fair to say that Lille are in real trouble at the interval and to add to their problems, PSG are unbeaten in their last 29 French Ligue 1 matches when leading at half-time.
It may sound cliche, but from the very first whistle, PSG have set the standard and outclassed their Ligue 1 rivals. Galtier's men got off to the perfect start when scoring from the kick-off, and no, that is not a misprint. Neymar, Verratti and Messi had a touch before the latter lofted the ball over the Lille defence for Mbappe, who lobbed Jardim. While Lille did rally and push forward, they were two-nil down in the 27th minute when Messi converted Mendes' low cross. Hakimi made it three with six minutes remaining of the first half before Neymar got a goal of his own just before half-time. It has been tough going for Lille, and things could be about to get even messier in the second 45 minutes.
45' + 1' HALF-TIME - LILLE 0-4 PSG.
45' + 1' CHANCE! Diakite wastes a glorious opportunity to give Lille their first moment of joy tonight as he heads his effort into the floor, before PSG clear their lines from a free-kick.
45' One minute of stoppage time to come!
43' GOAAALL - LILLE 0-4 PSG - this game is over as Neymar thumps the ball into the back of the net, leaving Jardim no chance. PSG carved through the Lille midfield and then defence like a hot knife through butter, with Messi's pass deflected into the path of Neymar. The Brazilian composed himself before drilling his shot into the near post.
41' PSG have scored four goals in the last 15 minutes of the first half, more than any other team in the French Ligue 1 this season.
39' Neymar is still to score this evening, but with passes like that, he will be in Galtier's good books. His contribution tonight has been a major reason why PSG currently lead by three goals.
B. André
Yellow Card
39' Yellow Card Benjamin André
A. Hakimi
39' GOAAAALLL - LILLE 0-3 PSG - This is incredible from PSG, and they lead by three goals as Hakimi gets his name on the scoresheet. The right-back played a quick one-two with Neymar before firing home from a tight angle. Everything about the move was precise and powerful, and Lille have no answer for their opponents tonight.
36' Lille fail on two occasions to beat Donnarumma, with David and Ismaily trying their luck from the edge of the box.
Sergio Ramos
Yellow Card
34' Ramos is shown the first yellow card of the match after a sloppy challenge near the halfway line on Bamba.
33' WIDE - Mbappe races into the penalty area but fails to connect with Hakimi's cross, and it remains 0-2. He is human, after all!
30' If Lille are to have any chance of getting a result tonight, they need to keep the score at 0-2. Fonseca's team have shown plenty of heart, but they have been outclassed so far, and they need to regroup at the break.
Nuno Mendes
27' Messi will lap up the applause, but Mendes' delivery was on the money. The PSG left-back had other options, but he picked the right pass at the perfect moment!
L. Messi
27' GOAAALLLL - LILLE 0-2 PSG. Galtier's side are in cruise control after a moment of magic from Messi and Mendes. The former Barcelona man cruised towards the Lille box before playing the ball wide to Mendes, who returned the favour. By the time Messi reacted, the cross was played into the perfect spot, and the Argentinean slotted the ball home with the most delicate right-footed finish. A world-class goal from PSG, who are enjoying themselves inside the first 30 minutes.
25' CLOSE - Mbappe nearly doubles his and PSG's tally for the evening, but he hits the side netting after racing past Jardim. The former Monaco man latched onto another defence-splitting pass from Neymar, but his first touch took him wider than he would have liked. As a result, he made the angle too hard for himself and Lille survive. But for how long?
22' TACKLE!!! Ribeiro has just kept Lille in the fight with a tremendous sliding tackle. A one-two between Mbappe and Neymar allowed the latter to run into the box, and just when he looked destined to score, Ribeiro stuck out a leg to stop him in his tracks and keep the score at 0-1.
19' Fonseca's troops seem happy to fight fire with fire here this evening. Even though they are surely aware of the counter-attacking threat that PSG possesses, they are doing all they can to pile forward and get the ball into the feet of Bamba and David.
17' OFFSIDE. Messi taps the ball into an empty net, but PSG's celebrations are in vain as Neymar and Mbappe were offside in the build-up, giving Lille a second chance to regroup.
14' While tonight's match got off to the worst possible start, Lille have been the better team since conceding.
12' SAVE! Donnarumma ensures PSG still have a one-goal cushion as he gets across to his left-hand side to deny Bamba, who has now had three opportunities to score.
9' Mbappe has now contributed to goals in his last five away games in the French Ligue 1, scoring eight times while also picking up four assists.
7' WIDE. Neymar wastes a golden opportunity to double PSG's lead after latching onto Mbappe's throughball. The Brazilian had time to pick his spot, but he dragged his left-footed shot wide of the far post.
5' CHANCE! Lille create their first real chance of the match as Bamba finds space on the edge of the PSG box, only to fire straight into the hands of Donnarumma. That was better from the home side!
3' There is a stunned silence inside Stade Pierre-Mauroy, with Lille fans unable to process what just happened. While PSG's passing was crisp and accurate, there is no way they should have been given a chance to shoot, never mind score. Lille have it all to do, but they have the full 90 minutes to try and find an equaliser.
K. Mbappé
1' OH, MY WORD!!!! LILLE 0-1 PSG - The visitors open the scoring from the kick-off. It doesn't get any easier than that for Galtier's side. Only Neymar and Verratti had touched the ball before Messi's throughball over the top of the defence caught Lille out, and Mbappe lobbed Jardim. Within eight seconds, Lille's game plan is already out of the window.
L. Messi
1' Messi claims the assist, and his pass was perfectly weighted for Mbappe, allowing him to run onto the ball before picking his spot. What an incredible start for the French champions.
1' We are underway!
The two teams are on the field of play and kick-off is moments away!
Lille have won just two of their last 20 games against PSG in Ligue 1. Both successes came under Galtier, who will now try to be the mastermind behind their downfall.
Lille boss Fonseca will be without Tiago Djalo due to suspension, while Timothy Weah remains sidelined with an injury. There is no place in the squad for Mohamed Bayo, with Yazici taking his place in the starting XI. Zedadka, Djalo, and Cabella also drop out, with Ismaily, Diakite, Gudmundsson getting the chance to impress from the off. Christophe Galtier sticks with the same team that beat Montpellier 5-2 last time out.

There is still plenty of optimism running through the Lille squad after the summer appointment of Paulo Fonseca, but his side faces one of the toughest assignments of the campaign. Lille failed to defend their crown last season, allowing PSG to return to their perch.
PSG have already beaten Clermont and Montpellier this season, scoring five goals in both of those victories. Lille started the campaign with a 4-1 success against Auxerre before they were held to a 1-1 draw against Nantes last weekend.
Good evening and welcome to our live coverage of the Ligue 1 clash between Lille and PSG. Les Parisiens will hope to make it three wins from three on their travels this evening, while their hosts are also unbeaten after securing four points.
