Thanks a lot for joining me, and have a great night!
FULL-TIME - Gala 1-0 Fener: Podolski's first-half strike is enough for Cimbom to secure a third successive cup title, providing some relief after a dismal Super Lig campaign. Fener miss out on silverware altogether, and losing for the fifth successive final against their most fierce rivals will surely make it all the more bitter.
There is the final whistle! Gala have won the Turkiye Kupasi!
That's silly from Volkan. The winger is too eager to dispossess Semih and commits a foul on the right-back while he runs back towards his own goal! Gala use the chance to take further valuable seconds off the clock.
ALMOST AN OWN GOAL! Nani surges into the box and prods the ball towards Markovic. Chedjou beats the Serbian to it but can only help it towards his own goal, with Muslera having to adjust quickly in order to keep it out and avoid holding onto it.
Yellow card Selçuk İnan
Selcuk is shown a yellow card following a disagreement with Hasan Ali. Missiles are thrown onto the pitch as the pair walk away with the referee.
Yellow card Sabri Sarıoğlu
We are into the first of a minimum of five added minutes in Antalya!
Red card Luís Carlos Almeida da Cunha
Substitution Emre Çolak Martin Linnes
Linnes replaces Emre as Gala make their final change of the match. Surely just a way of winding down the clock from Jan Olde Riekerink.
Souza makes a rather speculative claim for a penalty as he is edged out from beneath a cross from the right by Hakan Balta. Muslera takes the cross cleanly, and the Fener midfielder's protests go unnoticed.
The referee gets play underway with an uncontested drop-ball, and Podolski sends it all the way back to Fabiano. Fener will come again, though.
Gala have Emre and Selcuk down following a clash of heads but the referee refuses to stop the play. After a speculative shot at Muslera's goal he calls for the medical staff to enter the pitch, and the is some pushing and shoving among the players as they disagree over the official's course of action.
A speculative cross from Gokhan is hoofed clear by Chedjou, with Gala getting greater numbers back to defend now. They need to be careful not to invite too much pressure from Fener in this closing stages.
Time is ticking away for Fener now. Are they going to be able to force this beyond the 90 minutes?
Gala are giving away too many cheap free-kicks inside their own half. Emre sends Gokhan tumbling on the right wing and Nani clips the free-kick into the box. Fernandao manages to help it on, but his header, once more, drops wide.
Substitution Şener Özbayraklı Gökhan Gönül
ANOTHER CHANCE! Nani produces a brilliant first touch to get away from his marker, using his second to send an excellent cross towards Fernandao. The Brazilian peels away from Denayer to make space for his header, but once more fails to steer it at Muslera's goal!
Things are becoming stretched now. Fener lose possession in midfield but Gala rush their break and quickly hand the ball back to their opponents. Sener getting in an important interception with Podolski lurking.
Markovic picks up the ball on the right and attempts to dribble his way into the box. He manages to get past a couple of Gala shirts before running into a dead end and losing possession.
There's another yellow card for Gala, and this time it goes to Yasin. The quick feet of Nani prove too much for him, and the winger sends the Portuguese tumbling by the touchline.
Yellow card Yasin Öztekin
Yellow card Hakan Kadir Balta
That's another disappointing set-piece from Nani, this time after a foul that resulted in Hakan Balta going into the book. The Portuguese fails to beat the first man, handing Gala a simple route to relieve the pressure on their defence.
Substitution Alper Potuk Lazar Marković
On comes Markovic for his first appearance since February, with Alper the man sacrificed. The Serbian was frequently used in a wing-back role at Anfield, but he should be deployed higher up the pitch this evening as Fener search for an elusive equaliser.
Pereira has Markovic prepped on the sidelines. Will the on-loan Liverpool winger be able to make a telling impact for Fener?
GOOD SAVE! After Sabri replaces Sinan, Gala create an opportunity to move two goals up. The substitute makes an instant impact by lofting the ball into the box for the well-timed run of Denayer. The on-loan centre-back powers a header on target that Fabiano acrobativally tips over!
Substitution Sinan Gümüs Sabri Sarıoğlu
That was a big chance for Fener. It can either propel them towards an equaliser, or motivate Gala to push harder and extend their lead! Either way, it should help to keep things interesting.
OFF THE WOODWORK! Nani's free-kick is met with a weak fist by Muslera in the centre of his goal, with Ba reacting quickest to head the loose ball back towards goal. His effort looped onto the joint of post and crossbar before being cleared away by the Gala defence!
Yellow card Semih Kaya
Semih goes into the book for a cynical barge on Volkan as he looked to dart in behind from the left. A free-kick in a dangerous area for Fener...
Gala are finding it difficult to get out of their half and mount prolonged pressure on the Fener defence. It's been positive stuff from Pereira's team.
Sener drives forward on the right and earns a corner for Fener. Nani's delivery finds the head of Denayer at the near post but he can only flick it into the centre of the box. Fortunately for him, the next touch is from a Gala shirt, and the ball is hooked to safety.
Fener could really do with stepping up a gear now. They are beginning to find a few more spaces in the Gala defence but they've got to prove more clinical when opportunities present themselves.
That's very ambitious! Ba tries his luck, letting fly with a speculative drive from what must be in excess of 40 yards. The searing effort is always heading away from goal, arrowing far high and wide of the target with Muslera unconcerned.
An excellent cross from the right courtesy of Sener sets Fernandao up for his first attempt at goal. The Brazilian striker beats Denayer to the ball but can only guide it wide of the far post. He gives a thumbs-up to his team-mate, signalling he wants more of those deliveries.
Both sides are looking fairly erratic at the moment. Carole has gone into a couple of challenges with a high foot in the past few minutes, but neither time has he been penalised by the officials.
Sener looks to power his way to the byeline, knocking the ball beyond Carole and attempting to outdo him for pace. The Fener man clambers over the back of his opponent in order to try and get back in possession, conceding a needless free-kick.
Selcuk pings a corner in from the left that is helped on towards the far side. Denayer commits a foul in his attempt to win a header, and the referee relieves the pressure on Fener by awarding them a free-kick.
R. van Persie
Substitution Robin van Persie José Fernando Viana de Santana
Substitution Wesley Sneijder Aurélien Bayard Chedjou Fongang
We are back underway in Antalya! A big change from Pereira at half-time, with Van Persie replaced by Fernandao. For Gala, Sneijder has been replaced by Chedjou after struggling with an injury.
HALF-TIME - Gala 1-0 Fener: Podolski's strike is the difference is the interval, but it could have been more for Cimbom had the German proved more clinical in front of goal. Nevertheless, they take the advantage in the break. Pereira's team threatened more towards the end of the half, and you can bet there is still plenty more to come in this hotly contested final!
There is the half-time whistle!
Alper pops up on the left wing and bends a cross towards the back post, attempting to find Van Persie. He puts too much on his delivery, though, and the ball bounces out of play for a goal kick.
Yasin chases a long ball into the Fener box but is unable to get around Kjaer before Fabiano comes to claim. Things appear to have settled back down after a fiery period a few minutes ago.
We are going to have at least five minutes of stoppage time before the half-time whistle.
Fener are ramping up the pressure at the end of this half, but a poor corner from Nani sees Van Persie catch Podolski while stretching to make a connection, and a free-kick is awarded.
Nani sends an in-swinging delivery towards the far post which is glanced forward by Souza. The Brazilian is unable to direct it on target, despite beating the onrushing Muslera, who fails to get anywhere near the ball.
Fener again look to Volkan on the left, and his probing run results in a free-kick in a promising position, although there did not appear to be much contact from Selcuk.
TOPAL! A corner from the right is met by the stooping Fener midfielder, who directs the set-piece on target. His effort is straight at Muslera, who holds at the first attempt.
Yellow card Alper Potuk
Yellow card Néstor Fernando Muslera Micol
The subsequent set-piece is sent into the box and Muslera claims it comfortably. Ba arrives with a late challenge and floors the goalkeeper, prompting a fiery reaction from the Uruguay international. He chases the Fener defender out of his box, sparking a mass confrontation in the box! Muslera is booked, and Alper's response earns him a yellow card.
There are claims for a penalty from the Fener players, when Volkan is sent tumbling by Semih in the box. It looked as though the former knocked the ball out of play himself under contact, but the referee disagrees. Only a corner is given.
The Gala fans are ecstatic! The flairs are out in numbers but one of them makes its way onto the pitch, causing a delay before play restarts. We are back underway now, though.
GOOOOOOOAAAAL!! PODOLSKI OPENS THE SCORING! Emre's corner from the right is flicked on by Denayer near the penalty spot, finding Podolski in space by the back post. The German connects with the slightest of touches to nod the ball into the back of the net off the upright.
A quick free-kick gives Alper the chance to put a cross into the box from the right, but he directs it straight into the arms of Muslera. A wasted chance for Fener.
VOLKAN! The winger has been Fener's greatest threat so far this evening, and he cuts in from the left once more to get a sight of goal. He tries to curl the ball inside the far post but a deflection off the diving Denayer sends it behind.
STAT: Fenerbahce have never won a Turkish Cup final against their arch rivals Galatasaray (4) or Besiktas (3).
Some solid defending from Gala keeps Fener at bay, with Semih shepherding the ball out of play as Volkan looked to race in behind.
OVER AGAIN! After an impressive move down the left, Gala work the ball back to Podolski 20 yards from goal. It's another stinging drive from the forward, but once more he sends the ball sailing over.
Volkan finally returns to the pitch, but he doesn't appear to be moving too freely as of yet. He must still be feeling the affects of that collision, with Pereira hoping he'll be able to run it off as he's been one of Fener's liveliest players so far.
Emre is given a final warning by the referee after the midfielder drops down onto the Achilles of Volkan after being dispossessed near the halfway line. It didn't seem to be intentional, but the official clearly felt otherwise.
Nani clips a free-kick into the box from a deep position on the left. It is curled towards Ba at the back post, but the defender can only loop his header onto the roof of the net, although Muslera clearly had it covered.
GOOD SAVE! Sneijder and Selcuk work the free-kick short, shifting it over to the left for Podolski to have a go from a more central position. He drills an effort to Fabiano's right but the goalkeeper dives across and parries the shot to safety!
Ba lunges in on Podolski as he dribbles across from the right, sending the Germany international down to ground. The referee awards Gala a free-kick, and with Selcuk and Sneijder standing over the ball it could be very dangerous.
Podolski lets fly from 25 yards, producing a powerful drive which takes a deflection and spins towards goal. It's too close to Fabiano, however. The Brazilian could probably catch it, but instead opts to punch the effort to safety.
After a sluggish start, Gala have settled well and are beginning to control possession. These are worrying signs for Fener.
WHAT A MISS! Emre's free-kick from the right is flicked on by Selcuk, and Podolski ghosts in at the far post. Unmarked, the former Arsenal striker should have no trouble in picking out the back of the net. However, from inside the six-yard box, he contrives to blast the ball far over the top of the goal!
Volkan is picked out on the left and cuts inside, dribbling into the centre of the box. The winger pulls the trigger, attempting to pull a shot inside the near post, but a touch from Kjaer saps the pace from the effort and Muslera is able to collect.
Fener have managed to pen Gala back inside their own half for much of the early stages, pressing high and trying to force the opposition into errors. They'll be keen to take advantage of this and make an early charge towards the trophy.
We are underway in Antalya!
Fernandao has scored three goals in two cup appearances against Galatasaray, but Vitor Pereira has opted for Robin van Persie in attack. Lukas Podolski leads the line for Gala, with Wesley Sneijder deployed behind him.

It has been a torrid season for Galatasaray, finishing a whopping 28 points adrift of Besiktas in finishing sixth in the Super Lig, outside of the European qualification spots. The cup does offer a place in the Europa League to the winner, but a ban for Cimbom means they would be ineligible to compete even if they triumphed in Antalya tonight. Fenerbahce, meanwhile, will be desperate for silverware after being edged out in the top flight.
Hello and welcome to tonight's live commentary on the Turkiye Kupasi final between fiery Istanbul rivals Galatasaray and Fenerbahce. Both sides missed out on the Super Lig trophy to Besiktas this season, making glory in the cup all the more important.
