FULL-TIME! England close out a narrow 2-1 friendly win over Turkey at the Etihad, with goals from Kane and Vardy enough to cancel out an equaliser from Calhanoglu. Hodgson managed to try out a few options who were limited in terms of match fitness, with the Crescent Stars throwing plenty of offensive players into the mix as Terim tries to figure out his striking hierachy behind Burak Yilmaz. That's all that we have time for, we hope to see you again next time.
Great save from Hart! The Man City goalkeeper gets down smartly to his right-hand side, to push a firm parry well clear of harm's way! England try to counter immediately, with Kane then driving down the left and fizzing a curling pass into Vardy's path. Babacan is off his line quickly to deny the Leicester striker.
Drinkwater clips a long pass into Vardy, who manages to take the ball down and then stab a low pass into Kane. The Spurs player tries to swivel and shoot towards the bottom-right corner, but loses his footing and places his attempt narrowly wide.
There are three minutes of stoppage time.
Tosun is nearly picked out by a long, diagonal ball from the left-hand side. Rose is happy to see it out for a goal-kick, with England ticking their way towards a friendly victory. The home fans are urging the Three Lions in the direction of the finish line.
M. Erdinç
O. Tufan
Turkey
After much consideration, Tufan is withdrawn, with Erdinc coming into the fray.
The Three Lions are trying to see out the last few minutes, with Tosun trying his luck with an audacious long-range over-head kick. Terim has thrown a few extra men forward, with Erdinc also adding into the offensive mix for the Crescent Stars.
We're into the final five minutes in Manchester. Tosun is picked out by a long ball into the box, but is caught offside, with the referee pulling play back. England are looking fairly confident, with Hodgson's men keeping the ball and easing their way towards a late victory.

Sen is replaced by Oztekin for the final five minutes or so.

GOOOOOOOAL! VARDY THUMPS HOME TO MAKE IT 2-1! A corner is nodded down into a dangerous area by Cahill, with Babacan and his left-back getting into a tangle on the goal-line while trying to keep it out. The Leicester striker reacts first, blasting a close-range finish inside the near post to give England the lead.
Hart pumps a long ball upfield, which is nodded down into Kane's path by Vardy. The Spurs striker, instead of taking an intelligent option, drives forward and into trouble. He stumbles into traffic while trying to shoot from 20 yards out and is easily robbed of possession. Poor decision from the ex-Norwich man.
Walker drives down the right-hand side, before drilling in a low cross from the byline. Vardy tries to flick an effort goalwards, but instead miscues terribly and flicks an attempt away from goal. The Three Lions are threatening a little more as we head into the dying stages.
O. Şahan
H. Çalhanoğlu
Turkey
Sahan is introduced for the away side, with Calhanoglu taken off for the dying embers of this contest.
Drinkwater tries to slide a neat pass into the box, with Alli designed to be the receiver, but Topal cuts the danger out brilliantly. Vardy is then released down the right channel, using his pace to scare the Turkish defence once again. Koybasi manages to dispossess the Leicester striker expertly, however.
Only a quarter of an hour is left on the clock at the Etihad. Henderson guides a looping cross into the box from the right-hand side, but Kane can only rise well to nod a tame header into Babacan's midriff. The referee then pulls play back, adjudging Kane to have clambered on his opponent's back.
D. Drinkwater
R. Sterling
England
Drinkwater comes into the midfield third, with Alli pushed forward as a result. Sterling makes way.
H. Kane
Penalty Miss
England
KANE HITS THE POST! The Spurs striker takes aim, but kisses the woodwork with a poor penalty. His set-piece contributions have been consistently terrible throughout this contest.
M. Topal
Yellow Card
Turkey
Topal gets a booking for pushing Vardy to the floor, but is relieved to see Kane not capitalise on his mistake.
PENALTY TO ENGLAND! Topal pushes Vardy to the ground, with the Leicester striker using his pace to get in behind enemy lines.
İ. Köybaşı
C. Erkin
Turkey
Koybasi is introduced for the final 20 minutes, with Erkin coming off.
M. Tekdemir
O. Özyakup
Turkey
Tekdemir comes into the fray for the Crescent Stars, with Ozyakup replaced.
Play is slowed down, courtesy of a few changes. Both coaches have chosen to freshen things up, with the final squad deadline bound to be on both of their minds. Neither goalkeeper has had much to do at all, aside from claiming the odd cross.
Kane curls a free-kick delivery into the penalty area, but Babacan manages to claim ahead of Cahill. With narrowly over 20 minutes left to play, it isn't looking like either side will grab another goal this evening. Things have been decidely muted since the outset of the second half.
J. Henderson
J. Wilshere
England
Wilshere gets 65 minutes of football on his road to recovery, with Henderson coming into the game to start his own come-back.
Sterling dips a cross in from the right-hand side, but Topal heads half-clear, before Alli is penalised for pushing Inan while trying to meet the rebound. Moments later, the same Man City winger is fed down the left flank, but a terrible attempted delivery is lashed easily away by the Crescent Stars.
Sen tries to cut infield from the right-hand side, but the winger can't pick out a telling pass. Moments later, the same man drives to the byline, but can only win a corner from Rose. The resulting set-piece is swung in, with Balta turning a looping header goalwards, before an angled volley back across goal is belted into the stands by Rose. The second successive corner is easily cleared.
Only half an hour remains in this contest, with neither coach dipping into their respective bench quite yet. A long ball from Balta looks for Tosun, but Cahill covers across to put the pass into touch calmly. This game has gone a little bit stale, with substitutions bound to be on the horizon shortly.
Calhanoglu tries to drift in from the left and unleash a powerful effort, but the Leverkusen midfielder is felled by a well-timed sliding tackle. Turkey are continuing to cause problems on the counter-attack, but can't seem to settle down and enjoy a long spell of possession.
J. Wilshere
Yellow Card
England
Wilshere gets a customary yellow card, with the Arsenal midfielder making a rash challenge.
England win a free-kick on the left-hand side, with Kane bending a delivery towards the back post. Stones rises highest, but can only flick an awful effort a few yards beyond the far post. Hodgson's men have been on top since the restart, but chances are proving to be few and far between.
Turkey win themselves a corner, but Balta can only head a few yards wide of the near upright! Dier lost his man, with England still looking as though they are capable of leaking a couple more goals this evening. Moments later, Cen curls a cross in from the right, but Dier hacks a clearance away, before Tosun fires narrowly beyond the bottom-right corner.
Rose curls a cross in from the left-hand side, but Inan heads away. Moments later, Kane has the ball in the back of the net, but the ex-Norwich striker is denied by an offside flag. Dier picks out a good pass and allows his teammate to bundle home a fortunate finish, but the referee cut things short.
Walker and Alli combine down the right-hand side, with the former then fed to the byline. Instead of picking out a telling cross, the Spurs defender instead shoots straight at the goalkeeper. Disappointing choice from the Englishman.
England are not afraid to keep the ball at the back, with Stones and Hart exchanging possession under high pressure. The hosts haven't started the second half too brightly, but Turkey's forays forward have been limited to hopeful, aimless passes forward.
Alli sees a shot blocked! Vardy breaks down the left-hand side, before cutting a pass back to the edge of the penalty area, but the Spurs midfielder's effort is deflected into the grateful arms of Babacan. Play is halted for a moment, with Calhanoglu going down injured near the England penalty box, following a risky tackle from Dier.
We are back underway in the second half! This contest could go either way, with plenty of changes bound to occur as Hodgson and Terim try to evaluate their provisional squad's options.
HALF-TIME! The two sides go into the break at 1-1, with Kane's opening goal being cancelled out by a strike from Calhanoglu. The contest has been fairly equal, with momentum edging from one outfit to the other, with the third goal of the evening hard to call.
There is one minute of stoppage time. Vardy blasts way over the crossbar from 25 yards out.
Turkey win themselves a free-kick on the right-hand side, but Topal can only head Calhanoglu's resulting delivery way over the crossbar. Not long is left in this first half, with the visitors trying to push on and cause a few late problems, but Cahill heads a dangerous free-kick delivery away.
Sterling clips a cross in from the right-hand side, but Gonul is present to cushion a clearance away. Moments later, Stones plays a one-two to help the Three Lions push upfield, but an eventual cross from Alli arcs straight out of play.
Sen takes down a neat touch on the edge of the penalty area, but is then robbed of the ball, with England then countering at pace. Topal is forced into a risky sliding block inside his own penalty box, to deny a clipped diagonal ball towards the back post for Sterling.
Alli and Wilshere have been in the wars recently, with Turkey throwing into some dangerous tackles. Hodgson isn't too happy at present, with the England coach wanting to cotton-wool his star midfielders.
Dier lifts a great pass over the top, looking for the run of Kane, but Balta tracks the Spurs striker closely. The linesman's flag is up, however, for offside. The Turkey defenders will wonder where the match official was when the same England striker opened the scoring after straying beyond the last man.
Narrowly over 10 minutes remain in the first half, with England starting to see much more of the ball. Sterling is picked out on the right, before hanging up a neat cross, but Balta heads clear. Kane just wasn't attacking the correct area of the box.
O. Özyakup
Yellow Card
Turkey
Ozyakup gets a yellow card, after cynically fouling Sterling as the England wide man looked to drive at the penalty area.
Vardy and Alli try to combine on the edge of the box, but the two aren't quite on the same wavelength. Turkey respond with a break down the right from Sen, but Rose tracks back to make a timely recovering tackle. England counter, but Kane fires straight at Babacan when he had better options around him.
Sterling manages to win a corner on the right-hand side, which Wilshere whips in. Dier rises highest at the near post to meet the delivery with his head, but the ex-Sporting midfielder can only power a header low and beyond the near upright.
Rose is picked out making a run down the left-hand side, but England then work possession into Sterling on the edge of the box. The ex-Liverpool winger tries to stab an unselfish pass into the path of Vardy, but Topal makes a timely interception. He perhaps should have just tried his luck from there.
Wilshere cuts in from the right, before looking to lift a diagonal pass into an overlapping run from Rose. Unfortunately for the Three Lions, the ball is too heavy and skips behind for a Turkey goal-kick.
Good save from Babacan! Wilshere drives down the right-hand side well, before cutting back inside. The Arsenal midfielder jinks onto his left foot, before trying his luck with a low effort that the Turkey goalkeeper is forced to smother at his near upright.
The tempo of the contest is slowed down by Sen's injury problem, with England's pressure forced to subside for a moment. Hodgson's men work play from left to right, patiently probing for an opening.
Gonul tries to break down the right-hand side, with Vardy needing to make sure that he diligently tracks back and follows the run of one of Turkey's marauding full-backs. Play is halted shortly, with Sen going down and asking for treatment. The winger appears to be holding his groin.
Turkey appear to be looking to get in behind England's full-backs, with Rose in particular looking to be a target. Terim will be fairly pleased with how his side have kicked off in Manchester, with a first ever goal against England a nice record for his outfit to break early on in proceedings.
The opening 15 minutes have had an ebb and flow to them, with England starting brightly, before Turkey were revved into life by Kane's opening goal. Hodgson's men are keeping possession quite well, but the visitors are causing problems.

GOOOOOOOOAL! CALHANOGLU STEERS HOME THE EQUALISER! Rose is caught out by a quick ball in behind, with Hart coming out but getting nowhere near the pass. A cut-back finds the Leverkusen midfielder in space, who tucks home Turkey's first ever goal against England.
Alli feeds Vardy in behind once again, but the ex-Fleetwood striker is tackled vitally. The Spurs midfielder mops up the scraps, before being fouled to win a free-kick in a dangerous position. Kane rasps a low cross-cum-shot into the box, but it flashes across goal and to safety.
Alli tries to slide a neat pass in behind enemy lines for Kane to chase, but the pass from the ex-MK Dons midfielder is cut out by Balta. England are moving the ball at a good pace, with Vardy found making tracks down the left-hand side. The Leicester striker gets to the byline, but lifts a poor cross straight behind for a goal-kick.
Hodgson appears to have gone for a 4-3-3 system at first, with Sterling on the right and Vardy out on the left flank. Turkey are trying to keep possession and settle themselves down, with England sat back in formation and prepared to absorb some pressure.
Tosun is picked out on the left-hand side, before rifling a low shot straight at Hart! The Man City goalkeeper gets down smartly at his near post to smother the ball and prevent the rebound from wriggling out of his grasp.
Walker makes a great block! The Spurs right-back dives in to deny Tufan, who was attempting to steer a neat finish inside the left-hand post. That is a wake-up call for the hosts, with the early tempo in this clash being rather high.

GOOOOOOOAL! KANE OPENS THE SCORING! The Spurs striker is found in acres of space inside the penalty area, with Turkish defenders standing around claiming for offside. The striker is found by Alli, before tucking a low finish into the bottom-right corner.
Kane slides a pass in behind the Turkey back four, allowing for his strike partner to scamper in behind enemy lines. Vardy has Babacan at his mercy, but his first touch lets him down and the Turkey goalkeeper gobbles up the danger.
We are underway in the first half at the Etihad! Both of these sides have a tournament to look forward to next month, with players having a point to prove before both coaches set their Euro 2016 plans in stone.
