Commentary

Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
Doncaster return to action in League One next week against Scunthorpe United on the road. Palace travel to take on Leicester City in their next Premier League outing.
Crystal Palace secure their place in the last eight of the FA Cup with a comfortable win over Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium. Strikes in the first half from Jeffrey Schlupp and Max Meyer were enough to send the Premier League outfit through to the quarter-finals for the first time since their run to the final in 2016. Roy Hodgson's men put forward a professional performance and were rarely tested by their League One opponents, who lacked the quality to put the visitors under sustained pressure. The Eagles will be looking at the teams remaining in the competition with real hope of emulating their run to Wembley three years ago.
90' + 3' FULL-TIME: DONCASTER ROVERS 0-2 CRYSTAL PALACE
90' + 2' Sadlier creates space on the edge of the box and he pulls the trigger on a right-footed strike that slams straight into Hennessey's hands.
90' + 1' Van Aanholt and Benteke try to combine in the final third. The Belgian lifts the ball over the top of the Doncaster defence for the run of Van Aanholt, but the ball bounces favourably for the hosts into the hands of Marosi.
90' There will be three minutes of added time.
R. Boocock
A. May
Doncaster Rovers
89' Boocock replaces May for the home side, with the teenager making his second appearance for the club.
87' Andrew clips a ball over the top for the run of May, but the winger cannot stop the ball heading out for a goal-kick.
85' Whiteman curls a dangerous delivery into the box, but it evades the run of May at the back post and trickles out for a goal-kick. Frustration for McCann's men.
84' Andrew is brought down by Ward on the left flank and Rovers have a set-piece to send into the Palace box. Can the home side make it count?
83' Blair drifts into space down the right and he whips the ball to the back post looking for May. However, the winger pushes Ward as he tries to win his header and the referee awards a free-kick to the visitors.
82' Marquis tries to pull into space down the right flank, but the pass to the striker from Blair goes out of play for a throw-in.
B. Whiteman
Yellow Card
Doncaster Rovers
81' Whiteman gets the first booking of the game as he brings down Kouyate on the charge with a cynical foul.
J. McArthur
A. Townsend
Crystal Palace
80' McArthur replaces Townsend for the Eagles for the final 10 minutes.
79' The pace of the game has declined in the second half. Palace are knocking the ball around to try to see this one out with as little drama as possible.
77' Marquis collects in the final third and with little support he opts to go for a strike at goal. He hits it low and hard, but Hennessey gets down to make a comfortable save.
C. Benteke
M. Batshuayi
Crystal Palace
75' Benteke replaces Batshuayi, who failed to make an impression on his first Palace start.
73' BLOCK! Palace keep the pressure on from the resulting corner and Batshuayi heads on into the path of Meyer, who has space to shoot on his left foot. However, the German cannot drive his effort through a crowd of Doncaster defenders in the six-yard box.
72' CHANCE! Batshuayi is released through on goal in the right inside channel by Townsend, but he takes a heavy first touch and allows Marosi to come off his line and make the block. He tries to keep the attack alive, but has to settle for a corner.
70' Andrew gives away a foul in his bid to put Townsend under pressure in the Palace half. The game is slipping away from the League One side.
68' Doncaster have lacked the quality in the key areas of the pitch this afternoon. They've put forward a decent effort, but haven't had the firepower to hurt the Premier League outfit.
66' Whiteman clips a cross into the box and he looks for the run of Downing, but the ball just evades the defender along with Anderson in the middle.
65' Sadlier tries to pull Ward one way then the other and he manages to win a corner off the legs of the Palace defender.
K. Sadlier
J. Coppinger
Doncaster Rovers
64' Coppinger makes way for Sadlier.
T. Rowe
A. Crawford
Doncaster Rovers
64' Rowe replaces Crawford for the home side.
63' Kane lines up another strike from distance, but he drills his effort straight at Hennesseey.
62' The home side have found a rhythm since the break and are forcing Palace to defend in their own box, but are still looking for the chance to work Hennessey.
C. Kouyaté
J. Ayew
Crystal Palace
60' Ayew makes way for Kouyate for the visitors.
57' OVER! Rovers win a corner on the right flank and Palace are unable to clear their lines from Crawford's delivery. There's a scramble in the six-yard box before Schlupp heads away. Kane on the follow-up tries to power a header back into the mix, but it sails over the bar.
56' Rovers have come out in the second half with a stronger impetus than the first half and they're beginning to exert pressure on the Palace goal.
54' OVER! Coppinger gets the better of Milivojevic in the middle of the park before lining up a strike at goal. Kelly is out quickly to make a block, diverting his effort just over the bar.
53' Doncaster keep moving the ball with speed as Crawford releases the run of May on the edge of the box, but he loses out to Van Aanholt before he can pull the trigger.
51' CHANCE! May has to score! Crawford sends a low cross into the box that Downing heads on towards goal. May in the path tries to glance it on into the net, only to head his effort over the bar. Marquis was behind him and would have had a simple header had his team-mate not acted.
50' Whiteman surges to the edge of the box and he lines up a strike, catching Hennessey unawares. The Welshman makes the save before Kelly clears behind for a corner.
48' OVER! Palace win a corner as Andrew is forced to head a dangerous cross behind. Milivojevic sends the ball straight out to Van Aanholt on the edge of the box. The Dutchman lines up an ambitious effort on the volley, but can only send his attempt over the bar.
47' Batshuayi collects an offload from Schlupp on the edge of the box and he goes for a strike at goal, only to see his effort charged down.
46' We're back underway the Keepmoat Stadium.
Rovers had not been overly active in the final third. Top scorer John Marquis has been left isolated up front on his own. Attempts have come from distance from Herbie Kane and Alfie May, but they've not put Wayne Hennessey to the test. McCann and his team have to figure a way through the Palace defence twice now thanks to their lapse before half-time.
Crystal Palace are in command of this FA Cup fifth-round tie at the break courtesy of goals from Jeffery Schlupp and Max Meyer. Doncaster Rovers have had their moments, but their lapses at the back have allowed the Premier League side to assume control of the contest, leaving Grant McCann's men with a huge challenge to get back into the game. Schlupp's strike was a simple run and finish, which found the net with the aid of a deflection. The Doncaster manager would have been furious with his team to concede a second with the break within touching distance. A simple ball over the top from Luka Milivojevic allowed Andros Townsend to pick out Meyer to head home. The League One outfit will have to produce something special in the second half.
45' + 2' HALF-TIME: DONCASTER ROVERS 0-2 CRYSTAL PALACE

45' + 2' GOALLLLLLLLLLL!!! MEYER SCORES JUST BEFORE THE BREAK!!! 2-0!! McCann will be furious with his team as they switch off just before half-time. Palace double their advantage as Milivojevic lifts a ball over the top for the run of Townsend. He nods the ball across the face of goal where Meyer is left with a simple header from close range. The Premier League outfit have complete control now.
45' There will be one minute of added time.
43' Batshuayi attempts to win his duel with Anderson in the final third, but the Belgian is penalised for backing into the Doncaster centre-back.
41' Andrew holds his own in his defensive duties, keeping Townsend from finding space down the flank and he wins a throw-in for the home side in the process.
39' Blair is allowed to raid forward from the back and he floats a cross into the middle for Coppinger to attack, but he can only direct his header wide of the post.
38' Rovers work their way through the Palace midfield and space opens up for Kane to strike at goal, but he can only muster a tame effort straight at Hennessey.
37' PENALTY SHOUT! The Eagles surge down the left and Van Aanholt fires a low ball into the box. Downing makes the block and diverts it behind. There are muted appeals for a penalty, but referee Mike Dean waves them away. However, replays show that the cross did strike the defender on the arm as he slid to clear.
36' BLOCK! Palace clear their lines from the corner before Andrew lifts the ball back into the box. It lands at the feet of Coppinger, who goes for a strike, but his attempt is blocked by a wall of yellow shirts.
36' Marquis puts Dann under pressure at the other end of the pitch and it results in another poor backpass that Hennessey cannot keep in play. Doncaster have a corner.
35' Blair almost allows Ayew to break in behind him down the flank, but the Doncaster right-back recovers to make the covering challenge.
33' BLOCK! Milivojevic drives the ball low into the box and Batshuayi stoops to make contact with a header. However, a red and white shirt is in the right place at the right time to make a vital block.
33' Once again Meyer sends the ball into the box, but Downing manages to guide the ball away from Dann, although it travels out for a corner.
32' Milivojevic is brought down by Kane in the middle of the park and Palace have another opportunity to send a cross into the box.
30' Townsend is pulled back by Andrew and Palace are awarded a free-kick 40 yards from goal. Dann rises to meet the resulting delivery from Meyer, but he heads his effort well wide of the target.
28' The second corner from Milivojevic travels out for a goal-kick almost immediately. Not the best delivery from the flank.
28' Milivojevic floats the corner into the box and the visitors are able to win a second corner as Dann's header deflects off Downing before travelling behind.
27' Palace work the ball down the left flank and Milivojevic threads a pass into Ayew. The forward in turn finds Meyer on the charge in the box and he sees his strike at goal deflected behind for a corner.
25' Fortunately for Hennessey the resulting Doncaster corner is poor and is cleared with ease by the Palace backline.
24' Hennessey fails to control the ball under pressure from Marquis and he concedes a corner due to his sloppy mistake.
22' Rovers recycle possession on the edge of the box and Kane slides an offload into May. The winger takes a touch in from the left flank before firing at goal, but he places his attempt comfortably wide of the target.
21' Ayew finds space down the left flank and he has support in the middle. However, he goes for goal alone and fires his strike straight into the arms of Marosi.
20' Palace are being made to work hard at the back. Ward has to be alert to clear ahead of Marquis at the back post from a cross from the right flank.
19' Doncaster make another surge at the Palace line. May raids into the right inside channel before cutting the ball back to Whiteman. He tees up Coppinger for a strike at goal, only to see his effort charged down by a wall of yellow shirts.
18' Kane lines up a blast from 25 yards and he connects well with his strike, but Kelly is well placed to head behind, putting his body on the line.
16' Downing tries to send a long ball over the top of the Palace line for May's run in behind. Dann reads the flight of the ball and heads clear with authority.
15' Coppinger swings a cross into the box and May rises to head at the back post, but he cannot cushion his attempt back across the face of goal.
13' Andrew whips the ball into the box, but Milivojevic manages to clear his lines amid pressure from Crawford.
12' Schlupp brings down Marquis on the right flank, handing Rovers a free-kick in a decent position.
11' Schlupp now has five goals in all competitions in 2018-19, his best scoring season since 2011-12 when he notched six for Leicester.
10' Andrew clips a pass forward into the left inside channel for Marquis to chase, but Ward under pressure manages to get the ball away from the forward.

1' We're underway at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Crystal Palace are winless in their last six away games against Doncaster in all competitions (D2 L4) since a 5-1 win in the fourth tier in August 1960.
Palace have made six changes to their side that drew with West Ham United in the Premier League last time out. Hennessey, Dann, Ward, Meyer, Ayew and Batshuayi come into the side, with the latter making his first start for the club.
Doncaster have made two changes from their side that beat Southend during the week. Blair comes into the fold at right-back, replacing Lewis who drops to the bench. Mallik Wilks misses out due to suspension and May comes into the side to support Marquis in attack.
SUBS: James Tomkins, Cheikhou Kouyate, Christian Benteke, James McArthur, Vicente Guaita, Sam Woods, Jairo Riedewald.
CRYSTAL PALACE (4-4-2): Wayne Hennessey; Joel Ward, Scott Dann, Martin Kelly, Patrick van Aanholt; Andros Townsend, Luka Milivojevic, Max Meyer, Jeffrey Schlupp; Jordan Ayew, Michy Batshuayi.

DONCASTER ROVERS (4-3-3): Marko Marosi; Matty Blair, Paul Downing, Tom Anderson, Danny Andrew; Ali Crawford, Benjamin Whiteman, Herbie Kane; Jamie Coppinger, John Marquis, Alfie May.
Palace enjoyed a run to the final three seasons ago under the tenure of Alan Pardew. They were beaten in extra-time by Manchester United denying them their first triumph in the competition. This term is their best run since their final defeat, seeing off Grimsby Town and Tottenham Hotspur to secure their place in the last 16. It's a huge opportunity to reach the quarter-finals, with not a lot of elite teams left outside of Manchester City and one of either Manchester United or Chelsea.
Opportunity knocks for Doncaster this afternoon, with the prospect of reaching the FA Cup quarter-finals for the first time in the club's history. Rovers have beaten Chorley, Charlton Athletic, Preston North End and Oldham Athletic to reach this stage of the competition, but face their toughest challenge yet at home to the Eagles. Grant McCann's men are unbeaten in their last five matches and enter the game with momentum, having beaten Southend United 3-0 during the week in League One.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the FA Cup fifth-round clash between Doncaster Rovers and Crystal Palace at the Keepmoat Stadium.
