Commentary

And that will do it from Russia as it finishes all square between CSKA Moscow and Monaco, in their first-ever competitive meeting. Traore's first-half goal seemed enough for the points, but Akinfeev was finally beaten by Bernardo Silva late on. That keeps the visitors top of the group, while the hosts are in trouble at the bottom. That's all from us, thanks for tuning in.
90' + 1' Monaco have the momentum to try to win this match, but they appear to have run out of time, as Carrillo's knock-down is scooped up by Akinfeev before Bernardo Silva can pounce.
D. Sidibé
Yellow Card
Monaco
90' Sidibe is booked for challenging Milanov.
89' For the 30th Champions League game in a row, Akinfeev fails to keep a clean sheet. However this one ends though, you can't finger aby blame at the keeper, who has been magnificent.
Bernardo Silva
Goal
Monaco
87' MONACO HAVE DONE IT! Bernardo Silva is the hero for the visitors, converting with an excellent finish after Akinfeev had again made a convincing save! The keeper beats the ground in frustration.
85' OVER THE BAR! CSKA win the ball and manage to create a chance on the break, with Natcho having space in the centre to take aim, but he fails to find the target, sending it narrowly over!
C. Strandberg
L. Traoré
CSKA Moskva
84' Strandberg will also get a late appearance in place of Traore.
K. Mbappé
T. Bakayoko
Monaco
83' Bakayoko has been brought off for Lottin.
83' The CSKA supporters are loving the progress of this game, although the cameraman has caught some nervous faces in the crowd. They all know how crucial this three points will be.
80' The home side are defending resolutely as time starts to ebb away. It's also goalless in the other Group E match between Tottenham and Bayer Leverkusen - a result which will push CSKA into first if things stay put.
78' MASSIVE BLOCK! A cross isn't dealt with by the home side's defence, and it falls to Bernardo Silva just inside the area, but Berezutski throws his body in front of the shot and does enough!
76' Monaco try to fashion another opening but the cross from Sidibe on the left-hand side is terrible, going out for a throw-in on the opposite flank. Quarter of an hour to go here.
A. Gordyushenko
Z. Tošić
CSKA Moskva
75' Tosic's influence has waned in the second half, and he's off for Gordyushenko.
B. Natcho
Yellow Card
CSKA Moskva
74' Natcho is the latest player booked.
73' ANOTHER GOOD SAVE FROM AKINFEEV! Tosic's mistake lets Mendy in down the left-hand side, and he advances almost to the near post, but his low finish is blocked away by the goalkeeper!
71' Frustration starting to creep in for Monaco as mistakes begin to appear in their play. They don't seem to have a whole lot of ideas on the ball despite controlling possession for the moment.
B. Mendy
A. Raggi
Monaco
69' Mendy has been introduced for Raggi.
69' Tosic wastes a good chance from a free-kick. Just over 20 minutes to go now and CSKA are edging closer to a result that will flip this group on its head, taking them top of the table.
66' IMPORTANT PUNCH! Akinfeev springs to lie to get his hands to Lemar's cross ahead of Carrillo, who had got past his man at the back post. He's not done a whole lot wrong tonight, the keeper.
64' CSKA manage their first attack in a long while as Tosic scampers forward from the centre, but he can't find the target with a rushed shot. That came from good hold-up play from Traore.
62' Fabinho has been key in the improvement that we've seen from Monaco stretching back to the end of the first half. He's won the ball back regularly and has also been effective with his forward distribution.
59' Good spell on the ball this from Monaco, who are trying to probe their way through the CSKA ranks. Their crossing has been rather wayward though, and easy pickings for the home side's defence.
57' Germain gets challenged by Fernandes at the top of the box and goes down, but is told to get to his feet by the referee. Replays show that the striker may have had a case for a free-kick.
55' Monaco wrangle a period of possession and try to advance into the penalty area, but they find the door shut by CSKA. Frustrated, Bakayoko takes aim from long range but comes nowhere near the target.
52' OVER THE BAR! Milanov spreads the ball to Schennikov on the right-hand side, and he's got four options to pick out in the area. He sends the ball to Golovin, who runs onto it but can't keep it down.
50' It looks like Natcho will be alright to continue, as the game goes on. Monaco wil lbe encouraged by their end to the first half, and will want to ressurect that sort of momentum soon.
48' The game is halted after Natcho goes down clutching his face, and it appears that he got struck with the forearm of Fabinho when they were both challenging for the ball. Unintentional it looked like.
G. Milanov
A. Ionov
CSKA Moskva
46' Milanov has been brought on for Ionov.
46' Here we go again.
And that will do it for the first half with CSKA holding a lead thanks to Traore's strike against his parent club. It's been an even game, with the hosts dominating for long spells, but they were then penned back by a late flurry from the Ligue 1 outfit. A lot to play for in the second half, so stay tuned.
45' + 1' LEMAR! The winger nearly scores a tremendous solo effort after showing world-class control to bring down a high punt, before driving to the opposite side and seeing his shot blocked, with Akinfeev cleaning up the loose end ahead of Germain!
45' Good upturn in tempo this from Monaco in the closing stages of the second half, although they need to be careful as Tosic finds his way to the byline, with his looping cross dealt with far from convincingly by the defence.
43' OUTSTANDING SAVE! From a corner, CSKA fail to clear and the ball scrambles dangerously around the six-yard area. Raggi attacks it with a powerful shot, but the keeper instinctively pushes it clear before Traore gets the ball out of harm's way!
G. Carrillo
João Moutinho
Monaco
41' Moutinho has been limping for a few minutes and it appears that he won't even be able to make it to the half-time break for an assessment. Carillo has been chosen to replace him as he trudges off.
39' WHAT A CHANCE FOR MONACO TO GET LEVEL! They win a free-kick on the left-hand side, and as it's whipped in, Germain pummels a header that Akinfeev pushes up and over the bar! On second thought, the offside flag was up on Jemerson so it wouldn't have counted.
T. Bakayoko
Yellow Card
Monaco
37' Bakayoko has been booked for Monaco.
36' The defending from Monaco was shambolic on that play. Everyone stood and watched Traore stretch for the rebound. Sidibe had his hand up appealing for some sort of infraction that was never there.
L. Traoré
Goal
CSKA Moskva
34' TRAORE SENDS CSKA IN FRONT! Tosic glides down the right and shimmies past Jemerson to fire one for the far corner. Subasic makes the save, but Traore is onto the rebound and slams it home!
33' You get the feeling that it's a matter of time before CSKA Moscow find a chance to take the lead. They have not let up in their attacking pressure and have been rapid when winning the ball back.
32' IMPORTANT FROM JEMERSON AGAIN! He sticks to Traore and puts him off a header from Ionov's cross. CSKA keep it alive, and Tosic smacks it to the back post, but the Brazilian slides the ball clear ahead of the big striker again.
30' Nicely done by Traore again to chest down the ball and spin to face goal, giving CSKA a chance on the break. He spreads it wide to Tosic, but the winger shows too much of it to Jemerson, who makes the challenge.
28' INTO THE ARMS OF SUBASIC! Natcho tries to clip a ball into the penalty area for Golovin to attack. It's headed clear, but only to Tosic, who hits it first time and can't generate the power to beat the keeper.
26' Sidibe has been tortured by Traore whenever the big striker has drifted out wide. This time, under no pressure, he heads the ball out for a throw-in when he could have easily nodded it to a teammate.
24' Traore bullies his marker once again, and manages to keep a hold of possession for his side, sparking an attack where Ionov's throughball is narrowly intercepted before it reached Golovin.
22' The game has settled into a more even tempo here, with Monaco stringing together some encouraging passes. They seem to have weathered the early storm from the home side.
19' Traore is proving to be a good outlet for the home side here, although on his latest foray, he drifts to the right flank and delivers a poor cross that never reached its intended target of Tosic. CSKA would have liked those roles to have been reversed.
17' Monaco are on the ropes a bit here, and it's not being helped by some poor crossing on their own end when they manage to advance into the final third. Jardim needs to make some adjustments.
15' Excellent goalkeeping from Subasic again, as he races to the edge of his area to get to the ball ahead of Tosic after another incisive CSKA counterattack, led by Ionov's quick passing.
13' CSKA have certainly grown into this game, and are looking to apply pressure down the right-hand side. Sidibe hasn't enjoyed a good start to this fixture at all as he's been out of position more than once.
11' WHAT A CHANCE FOR CSKA! Tosic scampers free down the right flank and delivers a delicious early cross for Traore to run onto, but Subasic is off his line quickly to put him off the finish, which heads over the bar!
9' Tosic tries to get his side going down the right-hand side but is forced to play it safe. Wernbloom has the ball, but he's chopped down a size by Sidibe's challenge, which concedes a free-kick.
7' CSKA have a corner to defend after the ball touched last off Fernandes, but Moutinho's delivery is something of a waste, handing possession right back into the home side's hands.
5' Glik gets flattened by a tough challenge from Wernbloom, which gives the away side a free-kick, but they fail to make anything of it. The home team are really struggling to get on the ball.
3' Monaco have been trying to be a bit too clever with some of their passes early on. They've held possession nicely, but have been too ambitious when trying to break through in the final third.
1' Off we go!
Radamel Falcao isn't in the match squad, with Valere Germain leading the line for the visitors. Andrea Raggi is chosen at left-back instead of Mehdi Beneddine, with Joao Moutinho as the chief playmaker.
There's no Roman Eremenko or Alan Dzagoev for the home side tonight, but it will be interesting to see loanee Lacina Traore lead the line against his parent club. Aleksandr Golovin will be hoping to impress after an off-night against Tottenham.
Monaco subs: Carrillo, De Sanctis, Mendy, Boschilia, Mbappe Lottin, Diallo, N'Doram.
Monaco (4-2-3-1): Subasic; Raggi, Gilk, Jemerson, Sidibe; Fabinho, Bakayoko; Bernardo Silva, Joao Moutinho, Lemar; Germain.

Monaco have managed four points from their opening two group fixtures, and will be satisfied with their win against Tottenham and draw versus Leverkusen. They're currently third in Ligue 1, four points off leaders Nice.
CSKA's form has been slipping towards the latter stages of 2016. They've not managed a win in their first two Champions League games, and have also picked up only one victory in their last four domestic matches.
