Chelsea's defensive solidity under Tuchel continues then, while Man United are still struggling to break the best defences down. When all's said and done, Man City are the real winners of this game. It's hard to see how anyone will be able to stop them now. That's all for now. Goodbye!
Chelsea miss the chance to leapfrog West Ham United into fourth in the Premier League table but they're only a point behind the Hammers now. Tuchel becomes the only manager other than Brendan Rodgers in 2011 to keep a clean sheet in his first four home games. United stay second, 12 points behind Man City. They've failed to score in their last six meetings against other members of the Big Six now. The last four such meetings have ended goalless.
Chelsea and Manchester United share the spoils after a bore draw. It's a fair result in the end. Although Chelsea had more opportunities to score, especially in the second half, they weren't necessarily of higher quality and United were able to handle them. Both sides will be content with this outcome.
90' + 4' FULL-TIME: CHELSEA 0-0 MANCHESTER UNITED
90' + 4' Man United have one last chance to attack themselves. Fred goes from broke from way out and Mendy's punch clear is unconvincing. It briefly looks like it might land to a United player but Chelsea smash it away. That's that!
90' + 3' James' free-kick is headed out as far as Mount whose shot is blocked. Kovacic picks up the pieces and his low rasp inspires an easy save from de Gea.
90' + 2' Mount cleverly shields himself against James to earn a free-kick in a centre-right position. This will likely be Chelsea's last opportunity to score.
90' There'll be three more minutes of this game.
89' James takes a free-kick from the right after he's fouled by Shaw. It's wayward and Man United counter! It looks very promising for the visitors. McTominay gets the final pass wrong though and Chelsea snuff the chance out.
88' Since 2003/04, only Chelsea's 0-0 draw with Man United in May 2007 has seen more shots without a goal than today's meeting between the pair. We've had 26 shots so far. That game had 30. There's still time for either side to snatch the victory though.
86' Chelsea's latest attacking spell comes to an end as United get a free-kick. Shaw rolls the ball inside to Martial. Christensen pokes it out for a United throw-in.
84' Werner jinks into the box and shoots low at de Gea with his left foot. It's a simple save for the Spaniard. Pulisic blazes over seconds later.
82' Chelsea are finding a second wind. Rudiger spots James on the flank and James fires in an inviting cross for Werner. Werner runs towards the far post but Lindelof puts the German off enough to give United a goal-kick.
80' Mount swings the free-kick into the box and Christensen can't keep his header down. A goalless draw is looking increasingly likely.
H. Maguire
Yellow Card
79' The United captain Maguire earns himself a booking for stepping across Pulisic. Chelsea will have a free-kick from the right.
A. Martial
M. Greenwood
79' Man United make a change of their own. Martial is on for Greenwood.
T. Werner
H. Ziyech
78' Chelsea substitution. Werner replaces Ziyech.
77' Pulisic gets the better of Lindelof for pace but his cross only finds a United defender. James is on the turf after getting cleaned out by Kovacic. It's not a foul.
76' Mendy fumbles a James cross from the right. Fernandes looks to latch onto the loose ball but Mendy recovers quickly to smother it.
75' Azpilicueta is the next Chelsea player to give de Gea a tame shot to deal with. Chelsea have no clear threat up front since Giroud's departure.
73' Kovacic goes for the bottom right corner from distance. De Gea watches it come towards him and dives to his side to catch it.
72' Chelsea pass the ball around at the back for a while, trying to find a way past United's four-man block. Mount looks the Chelsea player most likely to create something at the moment.
70' Mount evades two challenges down the right but can't find Chilwell on the other side. United are unable to do much on the counter though.
68' James tries to dance through the middle and gets cut down to size by Kante. It's a fantastic challenge. United are starting to see more of the ball.
67' Fred goes for goal from way out and isn't too far from finding the top right corner. Chelsea breath a sigh of relief.
66' We're entering the final quarter of the game and we're still no closer to finding a winner. You sense that one goal will be enough to win this.
C. Pulisic
O. Giroud
65' Here's that Chelsea change. Giroud is the player who makes way for Pulisic.
65' Chelsea are preparing another change. It looks like Pulisic will be entering the fray.
63' Rashford curls an effort into the arms of Mendy from the left of the box. Mount darts up the other end to reach the six-yard box and shoots. It's blocked by McTominay who's tracked him all the way.
B. Chilwell
Yellow Card
62' Chilwell's booked for bringing down Greenwood. Man United are in the ascendancy.
61' Chance for United! Shaw crosses in on the overlap and it's kept in by Wan-Bissaka on the other side. Wan-Bissaka cuts back to McTominay who lets rip from range. Mendy goes down low to keep it out.
59' Greenwood lashes an effort high and wide of the top left corner. Fernandes is still annoyed. What a signing he's been for Man United. He demands excellence.
58' Kante has a pop at goal from distance. Man United clear and counter. Unfortunately for Rashford he's unable to stop the ball from going out for a throw-in. Fernandes angrily urges his team to do better.
56' James is judged to be offside as he looks to latch onto a throughball.
55' Ziyech's shot from outside the box is blocked. Chelsea win a corner down their left which they take short. James receives the ball and promptly floats it out of play. Oh dear.
54' Hudson-Odoi was the only player in the first 45 minutes to create more than one opportunity for either side. Chelsea will have to find a way to replace his creativity for the rest of this game.
52' James takes a shot from the edge of the box. It clatters off Christensen and out for a corner which Chelsea clear.
51' Chelsea and Man United have not drawn both league meetings between them in a season since 1921-22. That's one hundred years.
Fred
Yellow Card
50' Fred's booked for a crunching tackle on Mount. Fred protests his innocence but the referee isn't interested.
48' Chelsea get their best chance yet to score! Chilwell powers down the left and cuts back to Ziyech whose first-time shot is saved by de Gea! James races after the rebound but his cross floats harmlessly into de Gea's arms.
46' The second half gets started. Hudson-Odoi is sat on the bench sporting an ice pack around his knee.
R. James
C. Hudson-Odoi
46' Chelsea make a change at half-time as Hudson-Odoi is taken off early again. James replaces him at right wing-back. Tuchel gives James a motivational slap on the cheek before he comes on.
Man United will be pretty pleased again with their performance away from home as Chelsea have found them hard to break down. The away team has won on all four occasions that Tuchel and Solskjaer have faced off, all meetings between United and Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. Will Solskjaer's United claim another away win in the second half?
Chelsea and Man United go in at the break with neither side having yet broken the deadlock. As 0-0s go, this one has been watchable. It's been a competitive game with both teams' play just lacking a little in quality. Chelsea have edged proceedings so far, but they got a let-off as Hudson-Odoi's disputed handball went unpunished.
45' + 2' HALF-TIME: CHELSEA 0-0 MANCHESTER UNITED
45' + 2' Greenwood blasts the ball towards goal from distance and it's met by a Chelsea head. Greenwood approaches the box from the left but Hudson-Odoi shuts him out. That's all for now.
45' + 1' We've entered the first of two additional minutes in this first half.
45' Giroud gets a free-kick down Chelsea's left. He makes a "You talk too much" gesture to United's defenders who disagree with the decision.
43' United look to end the half on a high as Kante nips in on Rashford to give the visitors another corner. Mendy can't totally claim the ball in and the visitors get a throw on the opposite side.
41' Shaw's corner is unable to find any of his teammates. United have been second best so far but not by much.
40' Azpilicueta makes an excellent tackle to stop Fred's run towards Chelsea's box. Fernandes smashes a speculative follow-up shot against Kante and wins the corner.
39' Ziyech is also good to continue. Can we go a minute or two without someone taking a knock or getting fouled please?
38' Now Ziyech is down after taking an accidental shove in the face from Lindelof while contesting an aerial ball. This is getting silly.
37' After some treatment Giroud is back on his feet and looks fine to continue. Up the other end, Rashford takes a tumble over the advertising hoarding while trying to keep a pass in play. Thankfully nothing's hurt for him except his pride.
35' Rudiger picks out Hudson-Odoi down the right and Hudson-Odoi fires in an inviting cross. Giroud goes for the diving header and ends up banging his back on the right-hand post. That's got to hurt.
33' Neither team is really managing to break the other down at the moment. The game's still of a respectable quality but good chances are proving hard to come by.
31' Chance for Chelsea! De Gea's pass out from the back goes straight to Giroud outside the box. Giroud snatches at it straight away and sends the ball into the stands. Tuchel throws his arms in the air. Giroud should have done better there.
30' Shaw races onto a ball down the left and keeps it in play. Fernandes comes across to offer support but the pair aren't on the same wavelength and Chelsea end up with the throw. Fernandes exchanges some frustrated words with his teammate.
29' Chelsea calmly pass the ball out of their own defensive third despite Man United pressure. That is until Rudiger fluffs a pass made for him and hands United a throw-in. Rudiger holds his hands up.
27' Rashford takes a pass down in the box but the England forward is just offside. Chelsea have had 63 per cent possession so far, forcing Man United to play on the counter-attack.
25' Mount jinks into the centre from his inside-right position and floats a ball over the top intended for Giroud. Giroud's running away from it though and it bounces safely through to de Gea.
23' United work the ball down their right only for Kante to come away with possession. Kante plays a poor pass right in front of him and Fernandes looks to capitalise on it. United's Portuguese talisman can't quite find Rashford though. It's a Chelsea goal-kick.
21' Mount swings a pass wide right to Hudson-Odoi who finds Azpilicueta on the overlap. Azpilicueta returns the pass to Hudson-Odoi who pops the ball up and volleys it past the left-hand post. It's a respectable effort from Chelsea's newfound wing-back.
20' Chelsea and United are trading possession back and forth in midfield very quickly. No sooner does one team win the ball does the other win it back. It's exhausting and exciting to watch.
18' Chelsea will be relieved that that penalty decision went their way. The hosts have made a decent start to this game.
16' The referee Stuart Attwell comes over to the monitor to take a look at Hudson-Odoi's supposed handball and decides there's no penalty to be given. Tuchel and Chelsea are understandably unhappy about the situation.
15' The officials have pulled play back to look at the aftermath of Mendy's save from Rashford. There's a question as to whether Hudson-Odoi handled the ball before he cleared it...
14' Chelsea get their first shot on target as Ziyech stings the palms of de Gea with a rasping shot from change. It's nothing for the Man United goalkeeper to worry about. Hang on...
13' Rashford runs up to take the free-kick, getting sufficient dip on the hit to force Mendy to make a decent save. This is a very watchable game so far.
12' Fred beats Kovacic down the left but can't get past Azpilicueta. There's a coming together between McTominay and Mount outside the box. United have a promising free-kick.
10' McTominay wins the header and United race forward on the counter attack. Greenwood tries to curl a pass towards Rashford who's arriving in the box but Rashford is offside.
9' This game has started at an impressive pace. Hudson-Odoi beats Shaw and crosses for Giroud. It takes a deflection off Lindelof and goes out for a Chelsea corner.
7' United are unhappy as James is bundled over near the touchline. Play continues. Rashford's run down the left doesn't lead to a shooting opportunity.
5' Rudiger goes on a skilful run through the middle to get into a crossing position. The German fires in low and United get rid.
3' Man United clear Mount's corner comfortably. It'll be interesting to see how they cope with Chelsea's possession-based approach.
2' Chelsea start the game brightly as Mount crosses from the left. It's headed out for a corner by Shaw.
1' And we're underway!
The two sides are out on the pitch on a bright afternoon in London. Tuchel and Solskjaer share a friendly fistbump.
This match will be another test of how much Chelsea have changed under Tuchel. Man United have won their last three visits to Stamford Bridge in all competitions, while Chelsea haven't scored in these sides' last three Premier League meetings. However, Chelsea haven't lost consecutive league home games to United since October 1995. Who will come out on top here?
Tuchel makes three changes to Chelsea from their 1-0 away win over Atletico midweek. Chilwell, Kante, and Ziyech start. There are five changes to Man United from their 0-0 draw with Real Sociedad in the Europa League. Rashford leads the line up front for the Red Devils.

Visiting Stamford Bridge for this game are Man United, who beat Chelsea 2-0 in their meeting here last season. Since then Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team have gone unbeaten in 19 Premier League away games and look set to stay Manchester City's nearest challengers this campaign. This game could well prove influential come the end of the season.
After securing an impressive first-leg win over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League midweek, Chelsea now return to Premier League action. The Blues have become a sturdier outfit since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel, remaining unbeaten since his arrival. A top four finish is now well within the Londoners' means.
