Commentary

That's all from us, we hope you enjoyed the match. Until next time, it's goodbye.
Chelsea roar back into title contention with that narrow victory, and are now second, just two points behind Manchester City. Leeds remain 15th, but with more tough fixtures with Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool coming up, they'll know that Gelhardt's equaliser gave them a glorious chance to move one point further away from the bottom three, and they weren't able to hold onto it.
Match-winner Jorginho's two penalties turned this game in Chelsea's favour, and the Italy midfielder also recorded a key pass, and won three fouls in a masterful performance that reaffirmed how crucial he is to Thomas Tuchel's side!
Drama until the very end at Stamford Bridge! That goal from Gelhardt, with his first touch of the game, looked to have secured a well-earned point for Leeds, but Jorginho's penalty after that Klich foul on Rudiger sealed the win for Chelsea and broke the hearts of the travelling fans! Emotions boiled over after that winning penalty, and it's no surprise given the efforts of both teams to win a fantastic game!
90' + 7' FULL-TIME: CHELSEA 3-2 LEEDS UNITED.
90' + 7' Havertz and Firpo butt heads after the Leeds left-back dispossesses him, and things are getting a bit ugly here.
Diego Llorente
Yellow Card
Leeds United
90' + 6' Llorente is booked for shoving Lukaku as Chelsea try and keep the ball in the corner.
90' + 6' Roberts collides with Havertz as the Chelsea forward looks to waste some time, and he takes his time in getting up too. We're past the allocated five minutes.
Jorginho
Penalty Goal
Chelsea
90' + 4' GOOOOALLLL!! That might just win it for Chelsea! Jorginho sends Meslier the wrong way again and calmly strokes it home to make it 3-2 with just seconds left in this match!
I. Meslier
Yellow Card
Leeds United
90' + 3' Meslier is shown a yellow card, most likely for his protests in the penalty being given there.
90' + 3' A short VAR check is undertaken, but it doesn't sway the referee one bit, and Chelsea have a chance to win it from 12 yards! Jorginho will step up again...
90' + 2' PENALTY!!!!! The referee points to the spot after Klich catches Rudiger in the box! It's soft, but contact is contact and the referee's mind is made up! This could be heartbreak for Leeds.
90' We'll play five minutes of stoppage time to end this match. Don't go anywhere!
89' James follows through on Roberts as he releases the ball to Harrison, but the Chelsea wing-back isn't booked for the quite aggressive challenge that nearly sent the Leeds man into the stands!
C. Cresswell
D. James
Leeds United
88' James has really impressed up top for Leeds, but Charlie Cresswell is introduced to shore up this 2-2 draw.
R. Lukaku
Marcos Alonso
Chelsea
87' Alonso is withdrawn, and in his place comes Romelu Lukaku to try and win this for Chelsea in the last few minutes.
86' Leeds break through Gelhardt, who shrugs off two challenges before finding Klich in support. He looks to cut inside and shoot in the box, but it's blocked off Christensen!
85' Loftus-Cheek looks to come forward again by Chelsea before he's hauled down by Klich, gaining a free-kick from a good crossing position.
T. Roberts
Assist
Leeds United
83' What a ball from Roberts, and what a piece of build-up play by Klich and Harrison to find him and set up a dream goal for Gelhardt!
J. Gelhardt
Goal
Leeds United
83' GOOOOOALLLLLLL!!!!!!! LEEDS EQUALISE!!!! Harrison and Klich link up down the left, and the latter releases a flying Roberts. He crosses towards the six-yard box, and who's there but the 19-year-old substitute Gelhardt to squeeze a finish past Mendy to make it 2-2!!!! What a moment!!
J. Gelhardt
Raphinha
Leeds United
81' It won't be Raphinha who rescues this game for Leeds as he's off, and young Joe Gelhardt enters the fray.
81' Hudson-Odoi has been very lively since coming on, but perhaps too lively here, losing the ball and barrelling Ayling over to concede a free-kick.
79' WIDE!!! Chelsea pass the ball around like Leeds aren't even there, and even Silva gets forward to join in on the action. He's deep in the box when Mount's ball comes to him, and snatches at a shot that flies just wide of the post!
77' Hudson-Odoi looks to get into some space down the right, but Dallas stops him in his tracks by tugging him back.
76' Firpo and Raphinha looked to have unlocked Chelsea' right-hand-side defence again, but the attack breaks down and Raphinha's ball to Dallas on the other wing goes out for a throw.
A. Christensen
Azpilicueta
Chelsea
74' Azpilicueta also comes off for Tuchel's side, and on comes Andreas Christensen.
C. Hudson-Odoi
T. Werner
Chelsea
74' A first change for Chelsea as Werner comes off for Callum Hudson-Odoi.
73' Silva brings down Klich on the edge of the box, but Raphinha's free-kick from 25 yards strikes the wall and is dealt with by Chelsea's defenders.
71' Mount's goal levelled the scores for Chelsea, and as well as that first-time finish, he's had two more shots on goal, and completed one key pass and three good crosses.
M. Klich
Yellow Card
Leeds United
69' Klich backs into Jorginho as he comes for the ball and is shown a yellow card by the ref.
68' Leeds' left side is producing the goods again, with Firpo, Harrison and Raphinha again linking up to create both scoring and crossing opportunities. Time after time though, Chelsea are in the way at the pivotal moment, and time is running out for Leeds to salvage something!
66' SAVED! It's good play by Leeds again as Firpo and Harrison play a one-two down the left. Firpo cuts inside to Klich, whose effort is blocked, but only as far as Roberts, whose shot on the turn is straight at Mendy! It's a poor shot in the end, but these chances keep coming for Leeds, and they need to take one soon!
64' CHANCE!!! Firpo finds Raphinha in space down the left, and after the winger beats the challenge of Silva, he's through on goal. He shoots low, but it's deflected off the outstretched leg of Mendy and Chelsea clear! He's then flagged for being offside anyway, but what an opening for Leeds!
62' It's been a mixed performance for Chelsea's James at wing-back thus far. He's made a team-high three key passes and has had a shot blocked, as well as winning two fouls, but he's also given one away himself, and has lost the ball nine times in total.
M. Mount
Yellow Card
Chelsea
59' Mount is yellow carded by the referee after his celebrations of that Jorginho goal were deemed too excessive.
M. Klich
J. Shackleton
Leeds United
59' The booked Shackleton is withdrawn in Leeds' first change, and on comes Mateusz Klich, the only player on Leeds' bench to not be a current member of the club's academy.
Jorginho
Penalty Goal
Chelsea
58' GOAL! Up steps Jorginho, and, as he so often does, he sends the goalkeeper the wrong way with a cool penalty that makes it 2-1 to Chelsea!
57' PENALTY! The referee ultimately decides that it is a penalty and Raphinha looks on in disbelief! He argues that he took the ball before the man, but his protests fall on deaf ears!
56' We're undergoing a VAR check for a possible penalty against Raphinha, and it's easy to understand why, as that was a very reckless challenge from the Leeds winger.
55' CORNER!!! Alonso chips a loose ball over the top for Rudiger, who is subsequently clattered by Raphinha sliding in. The Chelsea fans aren't happy, but the referee gives a corner, not a penalty!
54' Forward come Leeds on the break as Harrison, James and Firpo tear up the left wing. James has it on the byline, but his cut-back for Harrison is deflected and Chelsea clear the danger!
J. Shackleton
Yellow Card
Leeds United
53' Shackleton leaves one on Alonso as he looks to play forward, and is booked by the referee for the sneaky foul.
52' In swings a Chelsea corner to be met by Werner at the front post, but his glancing header doesn't trouble Meslier who catches it at the first time of asking.
52' Chelsea play right through Leeds' midfield and Loftus-Cheek finds Havertz in the box. He looks to shoot, but it's deflected behind off Ayling for a corner to the home side.
51' Mendy appears to be getting really flustered by Leeds' constant pressure inside his box. He's already been forced into two rushed, long kicks this half after being chased almost into his own net by at least two or three Leeds players, led both times by frontman James.
50' Leeds win the ball high up the pitch, and it comes to Harrison. He's crowded, but turns out of a challenge before shooting on the turn from the edge of the box. It's well-hit, but not well enough to trouble Mendy, who gathers with ease.
48' Mount looks to chase Firpo with the ball all the way back to his keeper and does so, but looks to have caught both Firpo and Meslier in the process. Cheeky.
46' And we're back underway, via the boot of Chelsea's Havertz!
The teams are on their way back out onto the pitch, and this game really is there for the taking!
It's been a busy half for Leeds' Raphinha, who as well as scoring the opening goal, has had two other shots, made a key pass and two good crosses. He's also won all of his aerial duels in the match so far, and will no doubt be the man Leeds look to if they're to go back in front.
It's not been a first-half littered with high-quality chances, but both teams have taken their best one so far! After the awarding by VAR of a dubious penalty, up stepped Raphinha from 12 yards to make it 1-0 to Leeds. Chelsea looked shell-shocked, and were frustrated by Leeds' press, but they eventually broke through, capitalising on a loose ball in Leeds' half for Mount to slot in a well-deserved equaliser! Leeds need to tighten up at the back in the second half, whilst Chelsea need to find a way to get around the Whites' press without leaving themselves exposed.
45' + 3' HALF-TIME: CHELSEA 1-1 LEEDS UNITED.
45' + 2' From the corner, the ball bounces everywhere, landing at the feet of Havertz who blazes his effort over the bar!
45' + 1' SAVED!!! Forward come Chelsea again, and Jorginho threads a throughball for Havertz in the box. One-on-one with Meslier, Havertz looks to strike at the near post, but the Leeds keeper sticks out a leg to send the ball behind for a corner!
45' We'll play two minutes of additional stoppage time as this first half draws to an end.
44' Ayling brings down Loftus-Cheek on the edge of the box, but James' effort from the free-kick whips just side of Meslier's left-hand post.
Marcos Alonso
Assist
Chelsea
42' The work from Alonso to win that ball from Dallas showed excellent anticipation, and his final ball for Mount laid it on a plate for the England midfielder. He had the Leeds defence at sixes and sevens!
M. Mount
Goal
Chelsea
42' GOOOOALLLLL!!! Chelsea equalise!!!! Alonso nips in front of Dallas to win a loose ball in Leeds' half, and plays a one-two with Werner. Upon getting the ball back, Alonso finds Mount unmarked in the box, and side-foots a well-timed finish into the net with Leeds' defence nowhere, and we're level at 1-1!!!
Junior Firpo
Yellow Card
Leeds United
42' Firpo is booked by the referee after fouling Loftus-Cheek.
41' Reece James powers forward with intent for Chelsea, and finds Mount wide from the edge of the box. Havertz races to the back post to get on the end of Mount's cross, but Meslier rises to catch the ball and clear the danger.
39' Roberts again flies into a challenge, this time shoving Jorginho to the floor as he receives a pass, and concedes a free-kick to Chelsea from quite a threatening position.
38' Werner gets past Dallas, just, and holds the ball, but in comes Roberts with a wild sliding challenge that sends both ball and man over the sideline. He's not booked for that foul in the corner, and the Leeds fans in the away end are loving that he hasn't been.
36' Leeds' midfield resembles more of a 4-3-3 now, with Shackleton, Forshaw and Harrison all hunting in a pack to stop Chelsea's attacks progressing into the Leeds half. Since the Raphinha opener, it's certainly working for the Whites.
R. James
Yellow Card
Chelsea
34' The two Jameses collide as Chelsea's Reece flies into a challenge on Leeds' Dan. He sends the diminutive Peacocks forward flying into the air, and rightly receives the first booking of the match.
34' James and Harrison link-up down the left and the former plays a cross into the box, but he's flagged for offside after passing the last defender to take the return ball from his fellow winger.
32' Chelsea's tails are well and truly up after that goal, and after an at times lethargic start, they're flying forward at every opportunity whenever they manage to break Leeds' press, which has become more and more organised as the game's progressed.
30' Raphinha has now scored seven of Leeds’ 16 Premier League goals this season, with no other player at the club netting more than twice so far this term. His six goals have been worth seven points to the Whites, and should they hold onto this 1-0 lead, he'll make it into double figures!
Raphinha
Penalty Goal
Leeds United
28' GOOOOOAAAAALLLLLL!!!! Leeds take the lead!!!! While most Chelsea fans are still scratching their heads over the penalty decision, the Brazil winger calmly steps up, stutters, and slots the ball past Mendy and into the bottom corner! 1-0 to the away side!
27' We're off to VAR to have another look at this, and Alonso gets none of the ball and all of James' right leg, a penalty is coming up!
26' The referee blows to stop play as James and Alonso collide in the box. James has come off worse, but it looked a fair 50-50 clash, and he's not indicated a foul in either direction, yet.
24' Chelsea conceded more than twice for just the second time in 34 Premier League games under Thomas Tuchel in their 3-2 loss at West Ham last time out. In fact, the Blues have conceded more goals in their last three Premier League games (five) than they had in their first 12 combined this season (four).
22' Roberts is fouled again in a similar position, but Raphinha's delivery from this slightly wider free-kick is poor, allowing Mendy to gather under little pressure.
20' SAVED!!! Raphinha's effort is well struck and is curling just under the bar, forcing Mendy into a strong two-handed save!
19' Jorginho brings down Roberts on the edge of the area, and Leeds gain a free-kick in a very dangerous position for Raphinha to be standing over the ball.
18' Leeds have won just two of their last 32 away matches in London in all competitions, losing 23 of them.
16' OVER!!! The corner is headed out, but only as far as Raphinha, who fires a lovely-weighted half-volley towards goal! With Mendy nowhere, James is back and knocks the ball over the bar for another Leeds corner!
15' James does well to keep the ball under pressure from three Chelsea players as he tees up Harrison. He fires a low shot, but it's blocked by Azpilicueta and goes behind for a Leeds corner.
14' Loftus-Cheek gets the ball in space and tries a shot from distance, but it's an awful effort that flies well wide and lands high in the stands at Stamford Bridge.
14' Chelsea have drawn their last two home Premier League matches, 1-1 draws with Burnley and Manchester United. The Blues haven’t drawn three in a row at Stamford Bridge since a run of four between December 2015 and February 2016 under Guus Hiddink.
12' A long ball from Dallas at the back finds Raphinha on the run. He cuts inside and beats Rudiger, before he's flagged for being offside from the original pass.
11' Leeds are winless in their last six meetings with Chelsea in all competitions (D2 L4), last beating them 2-0 at Elland Road in December 2002.
9' Dallas strides forward into space and finds Raphinha. He cuts inside, but his diagonal pass to Harrison on the opposite wing is too hard, and the ball goes out for a Chelsea throw-in.
7' James stands over a wide free-kick and spots Meslier off his line. He looks to take a quick one and strikes at goal, but the Leeds keeper has it covered as it bounces wide of the post.
6' James gets to a Silva ball forward ahead of Shackleton and crosses from inside the box. Meslier beats it away, and then follows up by catching Mount's curling shot back in from the edge of the box.
5' Chelsea have won their last four home league games against Leeds, but they’ve never won five in a row against them at Stamford Bridge.
3' Rudiger is very far forward looking to support Werner's run, and upon getting the ball, wins the game's first corner off a Raphinha deflection.
2' Werner latches onto a loose ball in Leeds' half and takes on Shackleton down the left. He glides past him and crosses, but out comes Meslier to seize the low ball and end the attack.
1' Roberts kicks off for Leeds, and this clash is underway!
The two sides make their way onto the pitch, with kick-off just moments away!
Leeds have injury worries of their own though, with crucial midfielder Kalvin Phillips ruled out until February with an ankle injury picked up in their 2-2 draw with Brentford. His England teammate Patrick Bamford is also out, as are captain Liam Cooper and record signing Rodrigo.
It’s a much-changed starting XI for Chelsea, particularly in midfield due to absentees Mateo Kovacic, after a positive coronavirus test, and N’Golo Kante through injury. In come Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Jorginho and Kai Havertz for Thomas Tuchel’s side.
LEEDS UNITED SUBS: Kristoffer Klaesson, Joe Gelhardt, Charlie Cresswell, Cody Drameh, Crysencio Summerville, Stuart McKinstry, Mateusz Klich, Liam McCarron, Jack Jenkins.
LEEDS UNITED (4-1-4-1): Illan Meslier; Jamie Shackleton, Luke Ayling, Diego Llorente, Junior Firpo; Adam Forshaw; Raphinha, Stuart Dallas, Tyler Roberts, Jack Harrison; Daniel James.
CHELSEA SUBS: Kepa Arrizabalaga, Andreas Christensen, Romelu Lukaku, Christian Pulisic, Saul Niguez, Ross Barkley, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Hakim Ziyech, Malang Sarr.
CHELSEA (3-4-2-1): Edouard Mendy; Cesar Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva, Antonio Rudiger; Reece James, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Jorginho, Marcos Alonso; Timo Werner, Mason Mount; Kai Havertz.
Leeds are in a fight of their own at the bottom end of the table, though. They’re currently 15th, six points off the bottom three, and will be up against it in this match as Chelsea look to regain some ground on leaders Manchester City.
Third-placed Chelsea have hit somewhat of a blip in form in recent weeks, having lost 3-2 to West Ham in their last Premier League fixture, and being held to a 3-3 draw with Zenit in the Champions League.
Hello, and welcome to live coverage of this Premier League fixture, between Chelsea and Leeds United from Stamford Bridge.
