That's all for now. Thank you for following our live coverage of this Premier League clash!
Burnley will now be desperately aiming to pick up their first win of the season when they travel to face Newcastle next weekend, while they also face Manchester City in the League Cup in midweek. Meanwhile, Southampton will be aiming to build on this impressive result when they welcome newly-promoted West Bromwich Albion to St Mary's Stadium next Sunday.
Ings’ early goal proves the different as Southampton seal a 1-0 win over Burnley to collect their first points of the season. It took just five minutes for Hassenhuttl’s men to take the lead as Adams teed up his strike partner Ings who tapped it home from inside the box against his old club. Burnley had the ball in the net in the second half when Wood capitalised on a defensive error before tucking it home, but his effort was disallowed when he was flagged for offside. Taylor also went close for the hosts with a long-range strike in the second period, while Ings had a goal disallowed for Southampton in the closing stages before his side eventually went on to seal the three points.

83' Burnley win a free-kick following Romeu's foul on Westwood and the latter then delivers the ball towards Dunne at the back post, but his looping header does not drop for Long as Southampton eventually work it clear.
81' Southampton are now doing well to keep hold of the ball as they look to run the clock down. Romeu has been particularly effective in retaining possession before spreading it out to the channels.
79' Burnley work the ball around midfield as they await an opening, but Romeu then produces an excellent interception to reclaim possession before teeing up Tella on the left flank. However, the substitute runs into trouble near the corner flag as he loses out in a tussle with McNeil.

The players are now heading back on to the pitch ahead of the second half.
Burnley were certainly punished for their slow start to the match, but Dyche's men definitely looked better as the half developed. Southampton will need to remain wary of Burnley's aerial threat which they looked to exploit through many deliveries into the box, but Hassenhuttl will largely be looking for more of the same from his side with Adams and Ings having linked up particularly well in the first half.
Southampton lead the way at the interval with Ings' early goal proving the difference between the two sides at Turf Moor. It took the visitors just five minutes to open the scoring as a well-crafted move resulted in Adams pulling it back for Ings who tapped home against his former club. Adams also had an opportunity to add a second goal in the early exchanges, while Vydra registered Burnley's best chance when he thrashed his strike over the bar from close range.
