Commentary

That’s all for now. Thank you for following live coverage of this Group F clash.
Barcelona will be hoping to return to winning ways in the competition when they host Borussia Dortmund at the end of the month, but they must first prepare for league matches against Celta Vigo and Leganes. Meanwhile, Slavia Prague can now take confidence into their next European clash with Inter after domestic fixtures against Teplice and Sigma Olomouc.
It finishes goalless at the Camp Nou with Slavia Prague producing a resolute performance to hold an off-colour Barcelona side. The hosts saw their chances restricted during the first-half with a couple of promising attempts from Messi being their only major chances of the opening period. It was then much of the same in the second period as Barcelona dominated possession while rarely succeeding in breaching the defence. Roberto and Messi had the best second-half chances when they saw their attempts saved from close range, but Slavia Prague can take pride in the way in which they saw out the match at the end.
90' + 3' FULL-TIME: Barcelona 0-0 Slavia Prague

90' + 3' Kolar is shown a yellow card for wasting time at the goal-kick.

90' There will be three minutes of added time.
88' Messi has the chance to launch a quick break for Barcelona on the right wing, and his run looks menacing as he skips past a series of challenges while cutting inside. However, Soucek then does well to track back and tackle Messi before he can cause any damage in the final third.
86' Barcelona are now keeping hold of the ball just on the fringes of the final third, but they are still failing to find a gap in the Slavia Prague defence as Messi's latest attempt to breach the back line ends in the ball being cleared.

Slavia Praha
84' Kudela is the next player to receive a yellow card following his foul on Messi near the halfway line.
83' CHANCE! Vidal controls the ball near the right-hand byline before pulling it back to Griezmann, but it runs just behind the striker. 70' Griezmann cuts inside from the right wing before attempting to slot a disguised pass through to Vidal on the right-hand side of the box, but it is read well by Frydrych who clears the danger.
I. Rakitić
Sergio Busquets
Barcelona
68' Barcelona make their third switch of the game as Rakitic is brought on to replace Busquets in midfield.
67' Slavia Prague are now looking more settled on the ball as they enjoy an extended spell of possession for the first time this half, but it comes to an end when they fail to keep the ball in play on the left flank and Barcelona win a throw-in.
Ansu Fati
O. Dembélé
Barcelona
65' Barcelona are now making their second change of the match with Fati replacing Dembele.

N. Stanciu

61' Dembele embarks on a mazing run as he cuts inside from the right flank, but he tries to do too much and is eventually tackled by the Slavia Prague defence on the edge of the box.
59' Barcelona have seen the vast majority of the ball since the interval as they have recorded just over 77 per cent of possession. However, they need to make better use of it with Roberto's effort having been their only major chance of the half.
58' NO GOAL! It's Barcelona's turn to be denied by the offside flag! De Jong slides in Messi, who squares for Vidal to slot into the net. But Messi was offside from the initial pass.

57' Slavia Prague make their first change of the match as Traore is replaced by Tecl.
56' SAVE! Roberto has an excellent chance to give Barcelona the lead when he gets on the end of Dembele's clipped ball over the defence, but the full-back's first-time effort is saved by Kolar from close range.
54' Griezmann gets his foot on the ball near the edge of the box before trying to pick out Vidal with a chipped ball into the centre. The midfielder then goes to ground under the challenge of Kudela, but the referee does not award a penalty.
53' Barcelona keep the ball for a prolonged period before Lenglet attempts to pick out Semedo with a skidded pass towards the left channel, but the defender hits it slightly too hard and Semedo fails to reach it.
51' Sevcik picks up the ball on the right flank before sliding a well-weighted throughball towards Masopust further down the channel, but Pique makes an impressive challenge on the attacker and wins his side a goal-kick.

Sergi Roberto

Barcelona
46' Barcelona make one change at the break with Roberto replacing Alba at full-back.
46' The referee blows his whistle and Barcelona get us back underway!
The players are now gathering in the tunnel ahead of the start of the second period.
Barcelona have dominated the ball by recording just over 60 per cent of the possession so far, but Slavia Prague should still be feeling content with the way they restricted their opponents in the first half. Trpisovsky’s side also managed to create some opportunities of their own in the opening 45 minutes with their three shots on goal, so they may now fancy their chances in the second half if they can contain the threat of Barcelona, and specifically Messi.
It remains level between the two sides at the break, and Slavia Prague will feel relatively happy with their first-half performance after almost taking the lead on the brink of half-time. Barcelona have not been playing at the best and have seen their chances restricted by the visitors' defence, with two moments of magic from Messi being the closest they went to taking the lead. Sevcik and Stanciu both has good opportunities for the visitors, while Masopust thought he had given his side the lead at the end of the half before the linesman raised his flag.
45' + 1' HALF-TIME: Barcelona 0-0 Slavia Prague
45' + 1' DISALLOWED! Slavia Prague think they have taken the lead as Masopust pokes the ball past ter Stegen on the rebound after his initial header was saved, but the linesman has his flag raised for offside.
45' There will be one minute of added time.
44' CLOSE! Barcelona go close again as Dembele's corner from the right-hand side is met by the head of Pique at the front post, but Kolar is on hand to push the defender's firm header wide for another corner.
Sergio Busquets
Yellow Card
Barcelona
43' Busquets is shown a yellow card for a late challenge on Soucek.
43' SAVE! Griezmann plays a pass to Vidal just outside the Slavia Prague box and the midfielder then slides a throughball into Messi on the right-hand side of the box, but he sees his narrow effort pushed wide by Kolar.
41' Messi skips past a series of challenges in midfield before encroaching on the edge of the box, but Frydrych stands strong to make a challenge on the Barcelona attacker before clearing the threat.
39' Slavia Prague have an opportunity to whip in a delivery from outside the right-hand side of the box, but Stanciu's cross is nodded wide for a corner by Pique.
37' There is a nervous moment for Kolar in the Slavia Prague goal as he is dispossessed by Vidal near the byline, but the Barcelona midfielder fails to fully capitalise on the error and the goalkeeper's blushes are spared.
35' OFF THE BAR! Vidal plays a pass into Messi just inside the Barcelona half and Frydrych is then deceived by Messi's dummy, which sets the Argentine through on goal. He stylishly cuts inside from the right flank before trying his luck from the edge of the box, and his effort cannons off the top left of the crossbar!
33' Stanciu has a chance to test ter Stegen with his set-piece from range, but he drills his low effort comfortably wide of the right-hand post.
Nélson Semedo
Yellow Card
Barcelona
32' Semedo is shown a yellow card by the referee for tugging back Semedo just outside the right-hand side of the box.
31' Sevcik looks to test the Barcelona defence with his delivery from the right flank, but de Jong is on hand to retrieve the ball on the edge of the box before immediately striving to launch a quick attack for the hosts.
29' A Barcelona corner is cleared out to the fringes of the box which then sees de Jong compete for the ball, but he goes to ground under the challenge of Soucek and the referee waves play on.
28' CHANCE! Olayinka glides down the left flank before pulling the ball back to Stanciu on the left-hand side of the box. The attacking midfielder aims to sweep a left-footed effort towards goal, but it takes an unfortunate deflection off one of his team-mates and sails out for a goal-kick.
27' Alba and Griezmann combine well on the left flank to set Alba free near the left-hand byline, and he then pulls back a floated cross to Messi on the edge of the box which the Argentine volleys well over the bar.
25' Slavia Prague attempt to pass the ball along the defence despite Barcelona's high press, and Vidal's pressure eventually forces the visitors into conceding a throw-in on the right flank.
23' Olayinka creates a yard of space on the right-hand side of the box before squeezing a threatening delivery towards the back post, but the linesman had already raised the flag after Olayinka failed to keep the ball in play.
22' Barcelona have a chance to send a ball into the box from the right flank following Olayinka's foul on Semedo, but Messi's attempt to squeeze the free-kick into the bottom right-hand corner is read by Kolar who pushes it wide for a corner.
P. Olayinka
Yellow Card
Slavia Praha
21' Olayinka is shown Slavia Prague's first yellow card for tripping over Semedo in a dangerous position on the right flank.
20' Dembele skips past a series of challenges deep in midfield before carving open the visitors' defence with a throughball to Semedo, but the full-back sees his attempted cross blocked by Boril and it then rebounds back off Semedo before trailing out for a goal-kick.
18' Messi plays a one-two with Vidal in midfield before aiming to poke a disguised throughball into the path of Griezmann directly ahead of him, but the Slavia Prague defenders are alert to Messi's attentions and they manage to clear the danger.
16' Slavia Prague produce a neat exchange on the right-hand side of the Barcelona box which gives Masopust the chance to float a delivery into the box, but ter Stegen immediately emerges from his goal to claim the ball before launching a break.
Piqué
Yellow Card
Barcelona
14' Pique is shown the first yellow card of the match after tugging back Olayinka near Slavia Prague's left flank.
13' Barcelona enjoy a prolonged spell of possession which results in Pique drilling an ambitious long ball towards Dembele on the right flank, but the winger struggles to control the pass and he is eventually dispossessed.
11' SAVE! Pique weighs up his options just inside his own half before fizzing a low throughball into the path of Semedo. The full-back then finds himself in on goal on the right-hand side of the box, but Kolar uses his feet to save the low effort.
9' Dembele drops back to pick up the ball near the halfway line before slotting a pass through to Semedo on the right channel, but the full-back mistimes his run and the linesman flags for offside.
7' Dembele controls the ball near the right-hand corner and tricks his way into a pocket of space, but Boril is then on hand to make an emphatic clearance.
5' CLOSE! Sevcik collects the ball on the right-hand byline and sees his low delivery blocked by Pique, but the defender's deflection almost sees it trickle into the net from a tight angle and ter Stegen is required to make the save.
4' Masopust is played the ball in a threatening position on the right-hand side of the box and he then tries to float a cross towards Olayinka in the middle, but the delivery narrowly evades the winger.
2' Pique surges forward from defence before clipping a long ball into the path of Dembele in space on the right flank, but the winger was in an offside position and the visitors have a free-kick.
1' The referee blows his whistle and Slavia Prague get the game underway!
The players are emerging from the tunnel as kick-off draws closer at the Camp Nou.
Barcelona are yet to suffer a home defeat in LaLiga this term, while their current home unbeaten run of 33 matches in the Champions League is the longest in the competition’s history. Meanwhile, this match marks Slavia Prague's fifth attempt to seal their first Champions League away victory.
Valverde has made three changes to the side that lost to Levante over the weekend with Busquets, Alba and Dembele all starting in place of Sergi Roberto, Arthur and Luis Suarez. Meanwhile, there have also been three changes made to the Slavia Prague starting line-up with Kudela, Traore and Masopust entering the side for Takacs, Husbauer and Tecl.

Slavia Prague are appearing in the group stage for the first time in 12 years, but they have only collected one point in their first three matches. The Czech outfit had their work cut out when they were drawn alongside Barcelona, Inter and Borussia Dortmund, but they did seal an impressive point at Inter on the opening match day. However, Jindrich Trpisovsky’s side have lost both matches since then and must now be aiming to avoid finishing bottom of the group.
Barcelona cannot secure qualification just yet, but they would cement their spot at the group's summit with a victory over bottom-placed Slavia Prague at the Camp Nou. Ernesto Valverde’s side have so far collected seven points from their three European matches this term, and they will now be confident of extending their unbeaten run despite suffering a 3-1 LaLiga defeat to Levante over the weekend.
